    well, i installed the card and things were looking good until the system just shutdown after about three minutes of operation. dealing with boot failures now, basically starting from scratch at this point. Good thing I was already starting over with this system.

A thought had occurred to me, I hadn't changed the USB port that the IOGear bluetooth dongle was plugged into, so I switched it from a USB 2.0 to a USB 3.0 socket and that seems to have made all the difference in the world.
