I have a Seagate SATA 6Gb/s 3.5-Inch 4TB Desktop HDD (ST4000DM000) that, when plugged in, prevents my computer from booting up. I get past the Gigabyte screen, and get stuck on the "spinning back/forward slash" screen (sorry, I'm not super tech savvy, so I don't know a lot of technical terms... haha). When I unplug it, I'm able to start up normally, then I can plug it back in and use it without any issues. Any troubleshooting suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated!

Here are the details of my build:
  • OS - 10.10.5
  • CPU - Intel Core i7 3770
  • Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Socket 1155 (rev. 1.1)
  • Graphics - EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti
  • Power Supply - Corsair Enthusiast Series TX650
