I received my PowerColor AX6850 1GBD5-I2DH yesterday and it works perfectly exactly as you had stated. Although GraphicsEnabler=Yes is the easiest, I am using RevoBoot and patched my DSDT to select the Duckweed framebuffer. It works perfectly that way. :D
The reason it would say ESB2 AHCI is that your DSDT has been patched with that patch in order for the drive icons to show as internal rather than orange icons. Some prefer that method. IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext accomplishes a similar end but in a little bit different way.
Did you test this card with four monitors simultaneously connected at one time? That's my understanding from your post but just wanted to confirm. My PowerColor 6870 does this just fine but this is the only 6850 I know of where four monitors might work.
I'll see what I can do in a couple of days. I've had some all consuming family health issues to deal with during most of May that's kept me from getting anything done in that regard.
It's because that change is only a change of SLIC rather an actual change in a module. The module change requires uncompressing and then recompressing and the security checks seem to notice that. Still investigating exactly why it makes a difference but I've verified that the methods you're...

The Asus P8B-M is a nice little board. Unlike the SuperMicro X9SCL+-F I have, it has a PCIe x16 slot so can still use a graphics card. I've considered purchasing the board buy haven't yet. I'm definitely interested in your experience with...
We're working on it still but have no idea on timeline or if it will happen. Your best bet until some other solution is available is to use the SpeedStepper patch in MultiBeast. We're also working on DSDT's as well.
Try this DSDT. It's updated with a potential sleep fix that Francis implemented in his DSDT and works for him. The edits toleda has been doing for other boards also point to this change.

I've had good success with P-states all along. It's been hit...
Strange. Did your previous DSDT work fine?
We've been looking at some sleep fixes from toleda but the changes either are already there or aren't relevant. Did your previous DSDT allow you to sleep and avoid the multiplier issues, etc?
That's interesting. Some people say that only custom DSDT's done on the actual system are the best while others like the generic solution. I'd much prefer the generic solution myself since it can be copied to other systems easily. DSDT patching is daunting for new users for sure.
