OS X 10.10.2 Update

I tried 15,1 with a GTX 660 ti and native OS X drivers and still no luck. Could be that 15,1 just doesn't like my mobo even though it's a Gigabyte. The fact that it's a 9 series probably doesn't help.

Should have nothing to do with it being a Z97 board. The actual 15,1 iMac is most likely a Z97 board with an i7-4790K. I have using it for several days without any issues on my MSI Z97.

I Just Updated to 10.10.2 on my HP 4540S and works fine with the exception of the Facetime and Imessage asking for password repeatedly

Screen Shot 2015-02-01 at 12.35.43 AM.jpg:headbang:Update went as smooth as a real Mac ! Everything still working sound and GPU. Instead of using restart I shut down after update. A verbose boot -v seems to make the GPU come up better or sometimes it will misfire. App store, face time . . . all is good. Has any one tried the iTunes update yet and are there any problems with it?

Boot time increased!

After doing the combo update my GA-B85-D3H kinda stops for a while after discovering my HDD's and hence the boot time has increased. It was lightning fast in 10.10.1! Any one else experienced this??

I updated and am getting a kernel panic.

Would this problem be due to the kernel being updated in 10.10.2

When I installed the 10.10.1 update , everything went well.

Would it mean I have to re-apply the haswell kernel patch:
https://racerrehabman.wordpress.com/2014/10/18/yosemitehaswell-kernel-patch-for-early-reboot/

From that blog, someone commented about 10.10.2 support patch and they said yes.

If so, How would I do it, because after installing 10.10.2 update and then I reboot , I won't be able to reach the desktop again because I keep hitting the kernel panic.

After updating my hackintosh shuts down at apple boot logo. Tried every boot flag but nu effect. I forgot to repair permissions.
Anyone an idea how to fix? I'm using chimera

thanks

At first I tried that and it killed my sound (1150)...:banghead: Later I updated to 10.10.2 and basically everything went well. For some reason I have to boot with the -f switch, I haven't found out why until yet. That and sound not working are my problems at the moment.

It should actually boot either with -f or -x. Where is your installation media? You can still try to boot your system with it.
