Hello, I am new to this forum and new to Hackintosh.

I am not new to building computers, and I'm actually a professional electrical engineer.

This is my first attempt at a Hackintosh build, and I tried to follow the Stork/Hector guide to get my GTX 750 Ti up to date with 10.10.2.

A little background: I built a PC and got bored with it, and wanted to throw Mac OSX on it (similar to many people in this forum).

OS: Yosemite 10.10.2
Mobo: ASUS B85M-E/CSM
CPU: i7-4970k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB
Video: EVGA GTX 750 Ti SC

I have successfully utilized clover to boot Yosemite. I can succesfully boot Yosemite, although there are a lot of problems. Smooth mouse scrolling, video tearing, no sound, no internet. I have attempted to follow Stork's guide to update my drivers, but it keeps saying that my hardware is not supported. I feel like I need to use a version for 10.10.2 that has no hardware check. I installed the "Combo" update, and that actually changed my resolution to the correct res (1080p). Any help please? Also, I need to manually update the boot args with nv_disable=1 for it boot. Is there a way I can permanently implement this command?

Install it from the appstore and everything work perfectly...didnt have to reinstall any off my drivers

Hello I'm Matt and I'm trying to install 10.10/10.10.3 on my pc that has similar (almost) specs as yours:

Mobo: P8H61M LE
CPU: I5-2500
RAM: Kingston 8GB DDR3 1333mhz
VGA: MSI GTX 770 2GB OC
Network: Mobo's Ethernet

I was wondering if you could help me to setup the machine because I've tried several times with no results. Could you guide me step by step to setup the BIOS, Multibeast, Boot flags etc. etc. for Yosemite?Please?

Updated from Mac App Store and now my R9 290 works like when I just installed Yosemite: bad. Tried installing kexts again and that clover fakeid + inject ati config but still doesn't work.

Did you ever get your 290 working on 10.11.2? I'm having trouble making mine work as well, considering just going back to 10.11.1 :/
