Hi Rehabman,
I have booted into ubuntu to find some hardware information about my bt hardware but I couldn't find anything.
Is there any tool on linux/mac that can give me that info.
Thank you.
...How do I get wifi working on my 4530s
I tried step 16 with no luck....
You need compatible hardware. For the 4530s, HP branded AR5B195 or any AR9280/AR9285 rebranded as HP AR5B195. Details are in post #1.

Can I buy another wifi card and swap it out?
Hi Rehabman,
Since I don't have windows boot, i tried with linux utility CPU-G. Not sure that it identified the chipset right, looks generic. Couldn't even find it on the configurations profile page.
HP Probook 4530s
Core i5-2450M
Intel HD 3000
C200 series chipset 167C
BIOS: HP 68SRR F 25
I really appreciate your help!
That's the solution.
