Are you sure? whats your monitor, gpu setup?

Motherboard is Asus P8Z68V_PRO
Processor is Intel Core i7 2600 3.4GHz Socket 1155
Graphics card is Gigabyte Nvidia GTX680 OC 4GB

I've got Mountain Lion on my backup partition, which still doesn't play HD DRM content, but my recently upgraded to Mavericks partition does play it. I didn't do anything other than upgrade to Mavericks and delete my old AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement kext which was causing a KP.

Same problem here on a Haswell/Mavericks system. System freezes (completely - only a hard-reset helps then) when trying to watch movie trailers on iTunes. Any solution yet?

Same issue as you, same setup (haswell with integrated graphics). Tried connected display via divi and hdmi, system locks up just the same either way. I've also noticed the system also locks up when simply importing a copy protected movie into iTunes that was downloaded on another rig, strange behavior...

for those who are experiencing the lockup issue, try opening console and viewing the console log as the lockup occurs. For me, after the cursor freezes I see a line about awacsd exiting.

Trying to to see what these situations have in common.

EDIT: did some digging. There's an awacsd.plist generated in /L/Preferences. Just has a UUID in it. Thing is, it's not the custom UUID I'm injecting, nor is it the hardware UUID in system profiler. Anyone have any idea where that's being generated from? Might be related somehow.

Hi

I research in different site and finally some one suggest to change smbios.plist to different version for example i had macpro 6,1 abd i change it to macpro 5,1 and i finally get it working.

use chameleon wizard to change your smbios.

hope it works for you
