Hello!

I'm looking to build my first Hackintosh (well, by first build ever), which will almost completely be used for video production with Adobe CC.

The BitFenix Prodigy case caught my eye, and I like the form factor of a Mini-ITX build. Judging by the December Buyer's Guide, Tonymac is only suggesting Haswell architecture, and I'd like to try to keep the price of the build down a bit by using an Ivy Bridge 3770K, but need a powerful and compatible Ivy Bridge motherboard. The ones suggested in the past seem to be all discontinued.

Specs:
Case: BitFenix Prodigy
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce 760
PSU: Corsair CXM Series 600W (Possible overkill, intending to do a little overclocking)
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
SDD: Samsung 840 EVO 2.5" 120GB
CPU: Intel i7 3770K 3.5GHz Ivy Bridge Quad-Core
MB: M-ITX, Ivy Bridge
Cooler: (Necessary?)

If anyone has any motherboard suggestions, please let me know!

Thank you!

Additional Questions: Would it be better just to stick with Haswell architecture? Wait until Broadwell?

I've had the H77N-Wifi for over a year now and it's been one of the best Hackintosh boards I've
ever used. You can still get one for just over $100. I'd not even try to over clock with the Z77
version because it doesn't really work well for that. You'd need to get an Asus Z77 mini-itx for
that. So take a look at the H77n-Wifi, a great choice for a prodigy build.

Excellent, thank you for the tips!
