hey guys,

update went fine with me, as well, via app store. i got the update cuda driver upon restart like everyone else. i also got audio back using MB. Unfortunately, i couldn't relabel Trim. Any clue what I should do? I ran MB twice checking both 10.8.0 and 10.8.1+.... Trim still says "No" under system info. is there something i should do first before re-enabling Trim via MB?

I have the MSI Radeon HD 7870, booting via UniBeast MBR formatted disk- GraphicsEnabler=No. You then have to sleep the rig via Power Button, and when it wakes, joy. Not exactly ideal- but here are my test results. Fully working OpenCL/OpenGL and connectors in 10.8.3.

Did you have the 7870 already configured and working in 8.2 before you updated to 8.3?

Updated with no issues other than sound which required a rerun of MB and a restart. Cloned the hard drive yesterday, so I wasn't too worried about it not working. System in profile.

All went OK I had to rollback the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext reinstall support for my Realtek 892 audio chip and trim support. I am also getting the notice that CUDA is out of date so hopefully Nvidia will have a new installer to fix this soon. Other than that everything seems to be running great.

Asus P8Z77M-Pro and GTX670 here. Updated using combo update and the system hung at the lnx2mac driver. Booted into safe mode then tried reinstalling fakesmc, the alc892 hda drivers and the geforce drivers. Now I can't even boot into safe mode anymore. Bugger.

I'm running on a GA-Z77-DS3H v.1.0. I installed via the combo update, then ran MultiBeast before restarting. For the record, I FORGOT to repair permissions. Now the system will not boot, and I can't seem to get it to boot from my CarbonCopy drive either. Interestingly, my custom Chimera icon is also now gone.

If I boot with verbose, I see this:

Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist] 478 bytes.
Loading Darwin 10.8
Loading kernel mach_kernel
Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/mach_kernel] 4096 bytes
Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/mach_kernel] 8187856 bytes

And that's it.

GA-Z77-DS3H, i7 3770, HD Radeon 6870, 128 SSD for boot. Any ideas? Anyone have this board and know how I can at least boot from CarbonCopy?

Been using my gigabyte radeon HD 7770 with 10.8.3 beta and it works perfectly. Should I risk updating even though it says "Initial Radeon HD 7xxx device support: 7750, 7870, 7950, 7970"? I'll update, I can always restore from my backup anyway!

No issues with the Combo update, except for the annoying CUDA update startup prompt.

Fixed TRIM using the Chameleon SSD Optimizer.

Chameleon SSD Optimizer worked great the first time here as well. Have you tried tweaking the extra sleep tools it has? :headbang:
