It is something to try. I think on my desktop I ran into issues (KP on boot) without GenerateCStates=No and GeneratePStates=No. Important part is that you have the proper SSDT and System Definition.

BTW, after you get things setup, you should also use MSRdumper.kext to verify your pstates are working: http://www.tonymacx86.com/lion-desk...peedstep-sandy-bridge-cpus-using-msrdump.html

My system definition is macbook pro 8,3, i think is ok. I'll try later the ssdt in the package you linked. I'll also try generate states on no (currently on yes). about aicpm, was i right when I said that I maybe don't need it cause of patched bios?

thanks

Assuming the patched BIOS does it's job, you don't need patched AICPM.

Bios patch is flawless. I did it for bios version 202 since my dsdt was scripted for that version. Eventually I will patch 203

So you mean to disable wireless n in the router. I will give it a go. Also can someone send me the link for the nvidia driver, i tried to use the one that was in the install guide but the laptop kept giving me an error. And does anyone have any success with the webcam?

Sorry for the delay, the only eshoes i get with the webcam is when start using Photobooth, or anything official by Apple, Skype works fine.
The link for Nvidia drivers in the original post is working properly.

Thanks for the great guide. Does OpenCL work for you? OpenCL Oceanwave does give me a good score around 315. Luxmark shows a black screen when I run it.

I used the Mulitbeast patching for OpenCL in the frameworks with Graphics cards vram greater than 2GB. I have the retail G74SX with GTX570M and not the one from best buy with only 2GB and lower resolution. I also used mulitbeast patch for the Liby.

I have not installed the Nvidia drivers yet, and not sure if this wil fix the luxmark issue? WIll the nvidia driver replace those kexts?

WHen you wake from sleep do you get a black screen? Does the Nvidia driver fix this? I had sleep/wake working flawlessly in 10.8.0

Mulitbeast installs a voodoo trackpad which I will remove and replace with your kexts, ApplePS2Controller.kext and AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext.

My DSDT was from a Mald0n patch a couple years ago. I have to compare my DSDT to yours. I may modify the Graphics section for the vram to show up correctly in System Report and add also add the backlight script to mine.

EDIT:

I have a Dell Wireless and using the RT driver for the ethernet from, Multibeast so I will not need the IO89211Family.kext WHat is IONetworkingFamily.kext needed for after getting the RT ethernet kext from Mulitbeast?

What was modified in the AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext? WHat are they needed for? I have them as vanilla right now and don't see any issue other than what I stated above about sleep and luxmark.

I don't suffer from the orange icons and maybe its because of my DSDT not sure or don't remember. SO I am holding off on the Injectors for that. What about the IOUSBFamily.kext? Is this needed when using the PXHCD.kext for USB 3? Not really using USB 3 right now only USB2 and working fine. USB 3 port does not work so I am assuming the IOUSBMassStorageCLass.kext and IOUSBFamily.kext fix this?

I don't think I have bluetooth.

What is the IOath3kfrmwr.kext used for?

Won't need the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext any longer, I have successfully patched my BIOS from the another forum titled PMPatch UEFI patching utility. I used the the Asus BIOS utility within the Bios to update the firmware.

Im sorry i wasn't online lately.
Yes, Nvidia drivers will fix the black screen and the benchmark tests, i don't use any kexts from multibeast (i don't even have multibeast installed on mine), and my DSDT is for the 3 GB version GTX 560M Edited by "Baoren".

You may avoid using this AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext and use the one linked here by Baoren in post #25, he already patched and uploaded the one with working backlight already provided by RehabMan in this post http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...asus-g73jh-keyboard-backlighting-working.html .

I don't know if IONetworkingFamily.kext will be needed after multibeast's RT drivers or not, as i said, never really used multibeast.

And yeah, still no solution for USB 3.0 yet, my and Baoren's suffering :D.

IOath3kfrmwr.kext is used with IOBluetoothFamily.kext (not sure i typed the spelling right) to have a working bluetooth, although it's not stable at all.

I will try to find a solution for USB 3.0, a stable bluetooth, and a fully mapped keyboard for using all fn keys (right now we are using (numlock +,-) + alt + ctrl to decrease and increase backlight keyboard from RehabMan mapping's.

Original post updated.

Intel i7- 2670QM
12 GB RAM
Nvidia 560 with 3 GB

I tryed GenerateCStates=No and GeneratePStates=No + the new ssdt inside the pack linked by RehabMan. Cpu still goes around 70°-80°, sometimes higher, up to 90°. Fan still goes really fast. Houston, we have a problem :p

Sorry friends the problem has been resolved
After upgrading to 10.8.2 I forgot installation Nvidia update file

After installation the problem has been resolved and things are good so far

but now I need stop trackpad if it possible

thank you
