Asus Z590-E WIFI Gaming No longer boots after BIOS update

Well the EFI/config.plist that im using does not load DMAR or DRTNIA just what I mentioned above I thought it could be SSDT-PLUG but disabling that didnt help
I'm sorry to say, but the DMAR table WAS in there, somehow you've not added it in ACPI. But it's there in your folder.

Also SSDT-DRTNIA is not a DMAR table (which you've added comments as). That's something totally different (to do with the CPU). And AWAC should be one of the first to load tbh. Your ACPI table is structurally a mess (well the comments section is all wrong).

Aside from the config settings I posted for you before I noticed that your Booter > Quirk and Kernel > Quirk settings differ from mine below (I don't have AllowRelocationBlock, ProtectMemoryRegions nor AppleXcpmCfgLock switched on - however CustomSMBIOSGuid on mine is enabled. This is notwithstanding you're using an older version of OC and not the latest 0.9.3. I would highly suggest you get your EFI updated to OC 0.9.3 asap.

Ya see if you are looking at the first EFI that I uploaded that was made by someone else ages ago (the acpi comments are on me i was switching things out fast trying to get it to boot it wasnt like a finalizd EFI or anything lol) once again I am not using that and im running OC 0.9.3 the other guy that was helping me prior put together an EFI for me I will take ur advice make sure the load order is adjusted if the other one is like that and what not still problem ill upload the one we changed to (EFI STUFF)

Actually I had it right there so here I deleted out the serials and stuff this is the EFI stuff I'm using the config options matched up except for the customsmbiios option

EDIT: As I mentioned changing that customsmbiios option to true and trying xhci-unsupported did nothing, and I never needed that kext before this is really friggin peein me off. Gonna try a pre Big Sur install to test something I guess

So it turns out this board is having the same problem my old motherboard had! For those familar with my other post I had a different ASUS board that had problems where all the USB ports only ran at 2.0 speeds.... An ASUS rep in an email just told me that this motherboard also only operates at 2.0 speeds (Even tho the board is supposed to have USB 3.2 ports) which means the first board had the same limitation and they replaced it for nothing. Man it really is true ASUS really is bad bad bad now.......

When I asked them to clarify they dodged the question trying to just get me to RMA the board again HAHA! Oh boy... At least I know why MacOS wont boot now...... Dont think only mapping usb 2 only will boot either so time for a different company sucks... MSI im thinking

I think you may have misunderstood the response from Asus or it could just be bad information they supplied, I've not had a lot of success in communicating with the support team either through mail or on the phone. They assure you over and over they will resolve the problem or get it to someone else who can but which in my experience took a couple of months to happen. I think some of it is a language differences and the level of expertise that some staff have. It was frustrating but it in my experience not that uncommon, Gigabyte, MSI and Asrock all have their issues.

My other two cents, just because your board is supposedly only using USB2 that's not the reason you can't boot OSX. We used to tell everyone to try and use a USB2 port to install for compatibility reasons, not so much of an issue now but a USB2 port should work fine.

Mkay well.. First in regards to ASUS response Ive asked for clarification and told them I need a straight answer....
Secondly if thats not the problem then perhaps the BIOS update did indeed mess something up Ive heard there have been issues with there BIOS recently too not saying thats what happened here but possible.

Just curious how you know your board is only operating with USB2 ports?

Per an Email with ASUS people they are telling my board is maxed out at USB 2 speeds

The ASUS board I had prior was not as good of a model either so its likely that had the same limitation even tho both ports have USB 3+ Ports even colored as such!

Have you tried Downgrading the bios to one where this ‘USB limitation’ isn’t present.

Board only has USB 2.0 Ports is what they told me!

UPDATE: OH and they havent replied to my email in forever now since I asked for some clarification
