Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

What OS and what were you connecting to it? TB2 device with adapter? or TB3 device?
It would drop connection suddenly from all TB3 devices. Since this build TB3 is needed now its WIN machine... possibly will try again after doing an Z790 TUF Gaming build. Thank for your help!

Hi guys so,
I've been messing around a bit since the last update.
Now I'm on Ventura and I fixed the connection problem with my Apollo Twin X.
I have a few questions as I'm not a big expert in this field:

1) If I use intel wifi and bluetooth, can I still use airdrop(not recognize devices)? (I also have the Fenvi-T919 which I have currently disconnected from the pc).

2) Some usb ports that worked before, don't work now. The ports that are not working are HS03, HS04, HS05, HS06. I always used SSDT-UIAC-ASUS-Z690-PROART-15-PORTS.aml, disabling XhciPortLimit. I also tried SSDT All Ports, enabling XhciPortLimit, but nothing.

3) After the computer turns on from sleep mode, my apollo doesn't work.

thank you for patience, love you guys.

That's odd, which BIOS and OS version were you running at the time? Was your Thunderbolt firmware up to date? Can't understand why it would just drop out on you like that. Check the TB driver within Windows device properties and post back.

When you attempt it again, feel free to let us know.

Airdrop won't work, best to use the Fenvi card.

Unsure on this, perhaps someone else can chime in and work this out for you. Only advice i can give is, have you got Windows installed? Perhaps you can manually create the map using USBToolbox, it's very easy on Windows and it'll generate the kexts files for your EFI.

3) After the computer turns on from sleep mode, my apollo doesn't work.
Which Maple Ridge SSDT are you using? V1B or V2?

Hi there.

There are one or two builds mentioned in our forums about Z790 builds. If you search for "Z790" you should find them.

Please start your own thread in support if necessary, as this one is Z690 Golden Build, not a Z790 one and so "off-topic".

Although the overall build is very similar the 700-series is getting further and further away from anything Apple supported. No-one as yet has posted a complete and comprehensive 700-series build. There seem to be successes, but without in-depth detail.

If you are buying specifically for a Hackintosh build, take care. That's expensive and may not work as you'd like.

Unless you want to be the trail-blazer.

There's an EFI for it in the Z790 thread:
At least @Sabzz and @Aimia2012 have reported in this thread to have the Z790 ProArt working. The Search function is your friend.
