Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

Hello, everyone, I'm currently planning a hackintosh consisting of ryzen 5000 or 7000.

I work as a sound designer for a game company, and I use Avid Protools.

After a lot of searching, Waves confirmed that it was resolved, but I couldn't find any writing that Protools was working properly. Is the Protools video engine running in Bigsur and Monterey?

(I understand that you use QuickTime Player.)

** Note on Ventura 13.3 Public Beta **

macOS Ventura 13.3 Public Beta breaks one of the Ryzen kernel patches. Do not install this beta until AMD-OSX patches have been updated.

Hi everyone,

I am looking for help on two issues I noticed with Ventura 13.2.1 and previous version.

1. Under System Profiler-> Extensions almost all Extensions show as Not Loaded, Not Signed, and Not Notarized. See for example the image attached below for AMDRadeonX6000.kext. Which shows up in kextstat and works of course with my 5700XT.

2. I am getting various USB errors in the Logs. I don't know if the issue is Ventura related but it was not there on Monterey 12.3, because I have the logs from back then. I have tested the following things to eliminate any issue from my configuration, but the same errors always appear:

a. No ACPI changes, no Device Properties, no Kexts
b. ACPI renames of the USB controllers and Custom ACPI.
c. Device Properties on Opencore
d. USBMap and USBInjectAll kexts.
e. Spoof Device ID to AsMedia USB controller to load AppleASMedia1042USBXHCI

I should also note that the errors appear on both usb controllers B550 and Ryzen, and appear also regardless if there are devices connected or not, a sample from the last boot log is attached below. You can check for the errors by executing:

log show --last boot | grep USB | grep Error > ~/Desktop/USB_Errors.txt

thanks for any help or confirmation that the errors appear to your system also.

Earlier today the AMD Ryzen kernel patches were updated to support the changes recently made in the Ventura 13.3 kernel (version 22.4.x).

Please download and install the latest patches from here:

Remember to modify the first 4 patches with the number of physical CPU cores in your processor.

Hello, I have a problem right now. Wake up after sleep, will prompt:
Cannot Use Thunderbolt Accessory
Connect accessory to a Thunderbolt port on this Mac.
Customized UBS according to the tutorial operation, but sleep will still wake up a second, indicating this problem

Hi CaseySJ, I noticed in post 2044 the Goldfish64 line was modified, I haven't changed it my EFI. What's the reason for that?.

The original Goldfish64 patch does not work in Ventura 13.3.

Which version of macOS are you currently on?

I have 13.3 (b) 22E7752300g, with OpenCore 0.9.0. I replaced the patches over the weekend but only changed the 4 algrey values.

My bad, It's not something you modify, it's a new patch.
