Hi, Guys.

I am starting this topic with hope that I am not alone who trying to install hackintosh on Dell Precision 5750 Workstation. Need some help to understand whether is it possible to run macos (BigSur/Monterey) on my Dell Precision 5750 laptop (i7-10850H CPU Comet Lake 10th generation + UHD630? + NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 with Max-Q). Have already reread opencore manual for 5-10 times and stucked. I have replaced original SSD Micron 2200S with hacintosh-friendly WDS100T3X0C which allowed me to fix kernel panic during boot but installer still not starts. Appreciate any help.

Open Core: 7.9
Mac OS: Big Sur

BIOS:
Secure Boot: Off
SATA Mode: AHCI
Intel SGX: Off
CFG lock: Off (setup_var_cv CpuSetup 0x3E 0x01 0x0)
DVMT: 64MB (I didn't change DVMT Pre-Allocated manually because 64MB reported by BIOS)
VT-d: OFF

Attached open core 7.9 config, hardware specification, open core logs, screenshot of boot screen and content of EFI folder.

I have tried different SMBIOS for testing and . In general I was using MacBookPro16,1 SMBIOS. iMac20,1 was used only once to assure that it is not working as well.

let me know when you have updated your hardware profile and have used the files from the guide

Hi there,

Although it is a desktop you can have a look at my Z490 Comet Lake build here on Monterey for the general kexts, ACPI, Intel IGPU CPUID settings. > https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...-aorus-xtreme-core-i5-10500-i9-10900k.317244/

As a Dell laptop it will also need SMCDellSensor, SMCBatteryManager, & SMCLightSensor (in addition to the VirtualSMC and other mandatory Opencore kexts like AppleALC, Lilu & Whatevergreen).

You will also need to apply -wegnoepu to the NVRAM boot-arg to disable the Nvidia RTX3000 card because it's not supported in macOS. If you are running Big Sur, enable USB with USBInjectAll and XHCIPortLimit - otherwise disable XHCIPortlimit. Use SMBIOS of MacbookPro16,1 or MacbookPro16,2.

You will also need these SSDTs for the laptop which can be had from my Acer Nitro 5 build here:

SSDT-AWAC.aml
SSDT-DTPG.aml
SSDT-EC-USBX-LAPTOP.aml
SSDT-PLUG.aml
SSDT-PNC.aml
SSDT-PNLF.aml (this is not in the EFI but can be found elsewhere)
SSDT-SBUS-MCHC.aml
SSDT-UIAC.aml

Once you manage to get in and install the system, run USBMap in Terminal to create a full working map (kext) of your USB setup (remembering to pare it down to less than 15 ports). > https://github.com/corpnewt/USBMap

Thank you for detailed reply. I believe that most of your advices I have already applied but will try to use MacbookPro16,2 SMBIOS just in case.

MacbookPro16,2 SMBIOS didn't help

MacbookPro16,2 SMBIOS didn't help
if you have made changes, then you will need to upload your new zipped EFI along with a photo where it stops

Tested with MacbookPro16,1 and updated config and log file
