Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Hopefully we can find an ACPI (SSDT) solution for this eventually.
I'm looking forward to testing with my UltraFine TB3 monitor.

EDIT-Update, Newegg just updated their price and stock, now I have my MB shipping 1/18 for the BH price!

I hope so. Perhaps the key lies in the code that is executed on the wake cycle...

@dehjomz @gandem

I've been conducting Thunderbolt tests on the Asus Z690 ProArt Creator and have come to the conclusion that one sleep/wake cycle is necessary to enable the controller after each cold start. After one sleep/wake cycle, the controller remains active when system is shutdown and warm restarted (i.e. without unplugging it from the wall or flipping PSU switch to off).

My earlier tests must have been conducted after a sleep/wake cycle. Will update Post 1 accordingly.
Update:
One soft reboot is also sufficient to activate the on-board Maple Ridge controller. So we have two options after a cold start:
  • One warm reboot
  • One sleep/wake cycle

Much better (US$479 instead of US$799). Just updated the Newegg product link in the Components section of Post 1.

Hope you will share more photos with your new cooler installed!
I may have to purchase an inexpensive case while waiting for the main one. Meanwhile, the Kraken X62 280mm AIO is doing a great job with CPU cores reaching 65-72C during Cinebench with 100% load.

Might I ask which app you’re using for monitoring? Also, what is the cpu frequency under the all core cinebench load, is it 4.6 GHz ?
