Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

Oh, both of the Intel i211 Ethernet ports work with BIOS F10 in Monterey when using the standard-issue SmallTreeIntel82576-mod.kext?

Are you planning to install Monterey 12.0.1? Would be good to check Ethernet ports again after that.

@CaseySJ

With BIOS F10 in Monterey 12.0.1 the Intel i211 Ethernet ports do not work.

@CaseySJ

What is the Vega 56 Slot 1 SSDT for. I have a Vega 56 in 1st GPU slot. It’s working fine without the SSDT but should I be using it? Does it bring any benefits?
Those GPU SSDTs are not needed, but it's okay to experiment with them to see if they impart any benefit in either (a) performance or (b) power consumption. The PCIe addresses in those SSDTs may or may not be correct for BIOS F13.

Interesting... just out of spite, i tested a different SMBIOS for my 5950x... and surprisingly i get a little bit more juice from SMBIOS iMac20,1

better cpu management on the multi?

BTW, i went and bought the USB Ethernet for i211 issue with Monterey. Works great!

Hi! A difference of 200 points on geekbench is due to oscillation of the benchmark itself. It's not attributable to the smbios. If you take more benchmark you'll see.
Anyway, there is a hope for the build-in ethernet to work ok Monterey in the future? For now I'm using just the wifi so I don't care about it.
P.s. I ordered the BCM WiFi card finally. @CaseySJ

Hi all,

I have "AMD Radeon HD GFX10 Family Unknown Prototype" to identify my 6900 XT in Geekbench and other gpu softwares. I use OC 7.4 with Big Sur 11.6.1 on B550 Vision D with F13 bios. Maybe a just a rename in OC ?
And the AirportItlwm.kext is not working since 11.5 version.

Thanks for your help!

Hello
i'm starting to do "USB map" for my Asus ProArt B550 Creator.
First I tried to use some APCI from this tread :
PTXH is renamed to XHC2 by SSDT-B550-PTXH-TO-XHC2.aml. This SSDT enables all USB 2 and USB 3 ports.
Here is hackintool without the SSDT
capture 2021-10-22 à 11.32.40.png
capture 2021-10-22 à 11.32.19.png

Then I enable the SSDT in the config.plist
capture 2021-10-22 à 11.13.52.png
capture 2021-10-22 à 11.12.56.png

Where that "SWUS come from ?
Is it normal?

I attach my config.plist and the SSDT
Thanks in advance

I think this is up to the Geekbench guys since they prolly have a handful Device-IDs that they have programmed in Geekbench to identify the GPU. But i could be wrong of course.

I think your scores are fine, just variance depending on PSU, RAM and BIOS version.
Linux kernel is highly optimized for Ryzen.
