Up until now, all the public betas have been wonky when it comes to i211 smalltree networking... extra pci-e network card or usb-c network card are the only options. BTW, cant talk about developer releases

Just got this!! Monterey 12.0.1.

If you're on OpenCore 0.7.4 you may install Monterey at any time. Previous versions of OpenCore do not support the latest Monterey builds.

I see that some one saying i211 smalltree working in beta 7 onwards https://github.com/khronokernel/SmallTree-I211-AT-patch/issues/3

Unfortunately the ports appear in System Information --> PCI and Ethernet, they do not actually connect.

** Woohoo: Intel i211 Ethernet Port Working in Monterey **

Update: Spoke too soon. If Ethernet activity is light, the kext operates fine.
But after heavy network I/O it will disconnect.​
