You are welcome. But beware! Yesterday my Z390 computer (at left, "Mini-ITX 4" below) worked fine (different EFI of course than the one I posted for the Skylake unit). But this morning the config.plist wouldn't load, and PlistEditPro displays weird text below the horizontal divider (on my backup computer running High Sierra). I can't boot my Z390 from either SSDs or USB flash drive. Stuck again!

[Edit: Ha, now the Z390 works again... and PlistEditPro format is fine. But I didn't do anything!]

Thanks for working on this! I'm trying your EFI and no luck so far on a clean 11.1 installer... Getting a kernel panic on the apple loading screen... Any ideas anyone? Only difference I know of is I'm using a NVME drive and no dGPU... Trying to just use the HD530. Anyone try 11.1 yet?

Update: Got it working! Setting IGFX instead of Auto and DVMT memory to 64MB in BIOS fixed it... Crazy...

"Can you post your latest EFI? I'll give it a go on my machine."
Here it is, less the "Platform Info/Generic" information which you need to add. Keep in mind that usage of this EFI will result in a brief flash of text during boot (I don't know how to fix that), but there seems to be no effect on booting otherwise. Also there are entries (plists) that might not apply to your setup, like for Broadcom bluetooth operation. I doubt that would be a problem if left alone, but who knows?

Hi, I share my EFI for H170n with BCM94352Z
Thank you both for sharing your EFI folder!

wstrohm, anonn, or others,

Any updates (especially config.plist and SSDT) since the last time you shared your EFI folder? :)

So far, any issues with this motherboard with OpenCore on Big Sur?

My system with RX580 has been very stable on Catalina with an exception of the monitor going dark for a second or two every 2 hours or so. Any idea how to fix this?

Attached is my latest EFI configuration, works with Big Sur 11.3.1 and OpenCore 0.6.9 on my GA-H170N-WIFI motherboard ("Mini-ITX 2" below).

[Edit: If you try it, be sure to update the Platform section of the config.plist to match your system.]

Thank you, it works really well.
I'd like to make it better. Firstly, to get more stats showing in HWMonitor. On Clover with FakeSMC and plugins, I get this:

On your provided EFI, which is OpenCore + VirtualSMC, I added SMCProcessor.kext and SMCSuperIO.kext, and the best I get is this:

How do I get more readings, e.g., CPU frequency and CPU fan speed?

Suggestion: enable TRIM support at Kernel -> Quirks -> ThirdPartyDrives then set to True.

Excellent suggestion, thank you very much! I did that, and my Samsung 970 Pro NVMe drives now show "Trim - Yes" in System Report. Previously there was no "Trim" item listed. I don't recall seeing the function of this Quirk addressed in the OpenCore guide.
