[Guide] Booting The USB Installer Using OpenCore

this is an opencore thread, not clover :)

Hi Thank you, already used the opencore now, but still no luck

When i try to boot the opencore usb it just gives me blackscreen with backlight ,
usb with macos turns off
mouse and keyboard ligths are working (sign that is was not a hang issues because i can turn off and turn on the ligths for capslack and numlock)


My main Os is linux

I corrected the value on the config.plist and reset the NVRAM at the picker, and still this:
try replacing these 2 files attached

Hey @Feartech, I read some articles that specified some Ice Lake processor related problems, mainly with the "G1" style (for example, i5-1035G1) processors with graphics acceleration not working. Is that still the case? Or, if there is a solution, what should I do to make graphics acceleration work? Thanks!

not sure as i don't have the hardware and no one has added or replied with new information but if you find any info that useful then i can amend my post 2 :)

I think I'm going to try with your recommended ig-platform-id first, hopefully it will work good! But if not, I'll try doing some other ones, and then I'll let you know if it works out :).

Thanks, I did, and seems it didn’t make a difference☹️
how long does it stay on that screen for? does anything else happen after?
