The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

One more question, I'm sorry but I had to change my MB from Z370E to Z390F in a rush because the original board failed and I needed a working Hackintosh:

Everything seem to work very well now but I do not see the Recovery volumes at startup. I checked the Boot option and Neverdorecovery is off but still I do n to see the recovery volumes. I cleared up the NVRAM a couple of times.

Any help? What should I try?
Found this but not sure it will help:
If you can't pick the macOS installer when you boot OpenCore then you need to look at the settings in your /OC/config.plist, as you may have set the config to hide the installer entries.

Below is a section from the OC desktop guide, regarding troubleshooting when you can't see macOS partitions in the picker or if you have set the GUI for OC.

Check that you have all drives set to show.

@ModMike thanks for the awesome build. My two machines are screaming fast SFF machines, thanks to you. My question is: do you have any recommendations or guides for upgrading from Mojave’s to Catalina? It’s almost time to make the move for me.

Modmike hasn’t checked in here for 6 months or so but another user asked exactly the same question a page back. Start reading here:

This is an OC 5.9 for a Z390, updating to 6.1 is relatively easy compared to starting fresh. If I were you I would check out @pastrychef pages on the Z370.

Thanks Leeureone,
Everything works pretty well I updated and compare to Pastrychef.

The only problem I have is that the picker list for volumes at the beginning is a text list with numbers instead of the GUI.

I think I made all the necessary changes, I checked several times and I cannot find the problem.
I'm attaching my EFI.
Thanks

That’s not a problem, it’s an option you can enable. See this section of the guide that explains how.

You'll have to modify the IO shield cover so it will fit but you are probably already aware of that. The cover it also a heat sink so don’t just leave it off. Not sure if the antenna wires will be long enough’

If its the right adapter it should work out of the box. There are some kexts you won't need anymore but it will still boot and function fine. There are four that can be removed, the Airport and any of the BRCM Kexts can go.

Hi. Yesterday I started to move to OpenCore using modemike EFI.
it worked great and i could upgrade from 10.15.5 to 10.15.7.
Surfing on this success, I decided to try upgrading to last beta of Big Sur. This time troubles started: after preparation of a upgrade, I have a freeze at Apple logo with purple line. I was not able to finish installation and recovery (11.0) produce the same behavior...

That doesn't look right. Its probably a different utility. On my phone now so not going to be much help. Maybe look for AI Suite in downloads or something
