[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Are you just using my config.plist or the whole Clover EFI folder? Sleep/Wake are typically a related to USB port Limit patching gone wrong or being incomplete. I've got an SSDT-UAIC.aml that works for my i5 that is part of the EFI folder you can try first.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. Actually I want to mention to Sleep/Wake function, not Hibernation (sorry about that). I will replace the SSDT-UAIC.aml and post my result soon.

WOW, for the first time ever, my NUC8i5BEH goes to sleep and wakes using USB-C to DP cable!
I didn't check the audio yet or other things - but sleep works!!!

Was it all caused because the USB SSDT?

I've checked also the audio from the front audio jack - works excellent!
NUCEFIOC5.8.2 - is the best version yet for my NUC8I5BEH

BTW - I saw online that Intel Wi-Fi 9560 does works on Catalina 10.15.
I didn't try it yet because the lack of my experience, and I'm not sure if it's allowed to paste a link to the guide on YouTube here, is it allowed?

I am trying to migrate my Clover data(Serials+UUID) so that I can just boot either bootloader.

@Leesureone could you kindly check if this small mapping is correct? To my understanding those are all values to be changed when using your NUC8EFIOC5.8-2.zip (coming from CATNUC8EFI)

Pretty much, here is where the info is in clover including the UUID.


Here is where the ROM or MAC address is. There are a series of colons operating the value you eliminate and then add like this including the brackets <12345678>

If you'll look for Intel Wifi kext For Hackintosh Catalina 10.15 you can find a video from 2 days ago that explains how it's possible to enable the wifi and there kext are in the description of the video.
Maybe it is also possible with the NUC?

Are you using OpenCore or Clover? Mojave or Catalina?

I looked and I guess I found the video but not for the 9560. There is a thread here that there has been some success

Curious, the page 90 now is missing SSDT-UIAC.aml and SSDT-DDA, I know the first one not needed due to the USB kexts, what about the DDA? was present on OC 5.7.
