ah... simple rename didn't work. the UAR1 changed to XAR1, and there are still drivers connected to it
HelloHello @Malenca,
- Are you on Mojave?
- If so, you installed RadeonBoost kext to /Library/Extensions and ran Kext Utility to rebuild kernel cache?
- Then you removed RadeonBoost from /Library/Extensions and once again ran Kext Utility?
- Can you explain "HD not properly ejected"?
- Which HD was not properly ejected?
- When you reboot using the internal Mojave SSD, what error appears on screen when you enable Verbose mode (add -v to Boot Arguments)?
Okay, let's try this:View attachment 465116

I'm using imac 19,1, without any problem, but I can not get my hackintosh to sleep. I have Titan Ridge, but I don't have any thunderbolt devices ...@steve3d
I'm running the same BIOS version and seeing the same result in IORegistryExplorer. You're using OC. Are you running as iMac 19,1 or IM Pro? Do you have GC-Titan Ridge? Just curious, it looks like we're running almost identical hardware only I'm running Clover. Just curious how you're experience has been?
Okay, let's try this:
FIND: 085F4849 440C41D0 0501
REPLACE: A3A3A3A3 A3A3A3A3 A3A3
This will change this:
to this:
EDIT: Another option is to rename PNP0501 to PNP0FFF as follows:
- Find: 50 4E 50 30 35 30 31
- Replace: 50 4E 50 30 46 46 46

Hmmm, thanks for the heads up! This warrants further investigation on my part. The SSDT should have fixed the fan issue it did for me at least I have an XFX Vega 64 Reference card.
Not sure why you got the panic that is kind of odd result.
Thanks for clarifying. In Catalina we should not run Kext Utility.Hello
Again Congrats by the guide..
I'm on Catalina
I install the RadeonBoost.kext to the Kext/Others and the .aml into the Acpi/patch.
I ran the Kext utility and then got the system not restarting with the circle and cross showing.
The messages about the my external HD USB not properly ejected but in reality it was not ejected.
So, I reinstall a backup from the 10.15.3 and update again to .4 let's see again
But regarding the boost on radeon at least on my end didn't increase as the others are pointing out.
Thanks again for your help....
I think I learn in the hard way....Thanks for clarifying. In Catalina we should not run Kext Utility.
There might be a much easier solution, but first:@CaseySJ
I had a question. I have two GPUs. One I use for gaming on Windows and the other for professional work on windows/macos. I always have both connected to my main monitor.
In windows I can easily "disable display" to alternate between them, but macos doesn't have this feature as far as I've found.
Main monitor has two connections, one with each GPU. One in the thunderbolt slot, connected to the WX7100, and another DP port directly to the RX580. It's showing up as two displays, so I came up with the idea to disable the port of the RX580 that has the main monitor connected to it.
Is this possible?
I used IORegistry to find the slot, now I just had the question of whether it's possible to disable only that port in my SSDT?
