if you nvidia is connected to the port, then there is not much you can do about thatI got a version of the SSDT to work, but it disables display out from the USB-C port
But that port is on iGPU. Or could it be on both?if you nvidia is connected to the port, then there is not much you can do about that
easy to test in windows, plug a monitor into it and then right click desktop -> display settings -> advanced display settings, choose display using drop down and then underneath it will say monitor name and connected to ..... (intel or nvidia will be listed)But that port is on iGPU. Or could it be on both?
Just checked, says connected to uhd 630easy to test in windows, plug a monitor into it and then right click desktop -> display settings -> advanced display settings, choose display using drop down and then underneath it will say monitor name and connected to ..... (intel or nvidia will be listed)
that's good then, you should be able to disable the nvidia properly and still use the usb-cJust checked, says connected to uhd 630
Just have to figure it out with OC. So far no luckthat's good then, you should be able to disable the nvidia properly and still use the usb-c
I also have a problem with my external monitor, it goes black if I set more than 100hz refresh rate in macOS display settings, and that's rather sad T_T
Works well in Windows though.
I'm using displayport cable with type-c adapter. AFAIK HDMI can't do 1440p 144hz.Same here but I'm still on clover, using a USB-C to Displayport cable. I've looked into it but couldn't find a solution. I'm using a 1440p monitor, anything over 60hz will result in a black screen. Also works fine on Windows. I was hoping a USB-C to HDMI cable might work better, but since that is what you are using (IIRC) I guess not.
