AMD Radeon Navi GPU

This is the headless method. Just drag and drop the correct aml file for your gpu : Vega 64, RX 5500 XT, RX 5700 XT.

Drop into EFI partition ->CLOVER->ACPI->patched.

Remove from clover config file the boot args agdpmod=pikeram, device properties should be empty, no gpu injection and no WEG.

That sound is probably because your gpu was at 100%.

Edit. : for open core bootloader just add the ssdt file and remove weg.

So removing WEG causes issues. I lose both Display ports and 1 HDMI. Geekbench also can't do a Metal benchmark. I will try the SSDTs, I hope they remap the connectors!

@mattystonnie OK installed but only 1 HDMI port active on the Vega-64. Dropped WEG back in and now everything works.

Any advice? I still have a huge net gain so I'm happy.

I made 2 config files with the frambuffers, you had some typos there.

Why not use iMac Pro 1.1 ?

i see no difference between my "config woWEG1.plist" and your "config Adder.plist" ... Correct me if I'm wrong.

I can confirm that i have a performance boost around 40% with the injection. WEG is installed.

Open Hackintool and in the PCIe section find the address of you GPU, device path right click copy and paste into clover devices, replace the blue line you see in the picture.

Just use it like that, if only works with WEG installed. I dont have any vega 64 to test, I am trying "blind".

Hi everybody,

how do I get the direct injection for my RX 5700 XT (Board: Designare Z390) working when using Opencore? In Opencore there is no renaming from PEGP to GFX0 done. Do I rename something? Because WEG is not doing that anymore?
Should I add device properties or the AML? I tried the AML from here and also tried to add the device properties from the Adder.plist to my Opencore config, but then my system starts with black screen. When connecting via VNC I can see, that the graphis card is not recognized anymore...

Edit. Use the ssdt aml plus weg from here. Give me an ioreg print.
