[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

So the hardware installation and software setup went smoothly?

This evening I'll send you the latest TbtOnPch files.

Regarding the screenshot you posted, did that happen after a hot-plug/hot-unplug followed by a hard boot?

I see that no TB3 devices are connected, but the Local Node and Bus still appeared?
Some issue with Power Supply .. and to found an old RX570 to avoid IGPU patching for quick installation ;)... and also native NVRAM enabling, quickly made with your precious guide but on IOReg, under AppleEFINVRAM. I had only three properties :| , now it work ! I still have to found how to enabling AppleVTD (like on my Asus board) by disabling DMAR drop table. I still have a kernel panic on boot.

OK for another version of SSDT ! I will test it for you and make some modifications if required.

Another informations :
- ThunderboltDROM is not required, but It will be usefull with some modifications on Port 7 in order to display some hidden informations on IOThunderboltPort@7, for customizing UUID (ThunderboltIP or something else) and VendorID/ProductID. New customized ThunderboltDROM might be accepted by macOS driver only after tuning CRC8 and CRC32 included data.
- ThunderboltConfig is not required, I don't know what the content means and what it configure !
- pathcr is finally not required

Following System informations with UID randomly (?) created by macOS driver and different from 0x00ED00000...
Speed and status link are normal

This is awesome! Will be home in about 30 minutes and will try out the changes you described.
 
Okay -- problem found:
  • We are only supposed to change TEST_SWITCH at the top of the file on Line 85.
  • But it seems you might have changed it everywhere throughout the file.
Please download EFIClone-v4.sh from the mini-guide once again, then remove the quarantine flag (xattr -d com.apple.quarantine EFIClone-v4.sh), change only line 85 to TEST_SWITCH="N", save the fie, then copy it to the CCC Scripts folder and secure that folder.

I am able to duplicate your results!
  • Cold boot
  • No (a) ThunderboltDROM, (b) ThunderboltConfig, (c) pathcr
  • With Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro connected before boot
  • The dock does not activate, but TNODE/TBUS chain appears immediately on cold boot
  • And Link speed is not zero anymore, but 20 Gbps

It should be relatively straightforward to update the acidanthera kexts (VirtualSMC, Lilu, WhateverGreen, AppleALC). Because you're running Mojave, copy the new versions to both:
  • /Library/Extensions
  • CLOVER/kexts/Other
And run Kext Utility to rebuild the kernel cache.

However, because you've upgraded Clover from 4xxx to 5xxx, please check that the older CLOVER/drivers64UEFI folder has been deleted, and all needed EFI drivers are present in the new CLOVER/drivers/UEFI folder. If in doubt, grab a screenshot of the following:
  • /Library/Extensions
  • CLOVER/kexts/Other
  • CLOVER/drivers/UEFI
  • CLOVER
Thank you for your answer, I still have the CLOVER/drivers64UEFI present, so I will delete it, but before, here's a screenshot of what I've got now. Do I need to move HFSPlus-64.efi & VirtualSmc.efi to CLOVER/drivers/UEFI ?
And what about this nvram.plist ! I don't even know what is it and if I need it.
