one sec I will try another cableAre you using HDMI? How is the quality of your cable? It sounds very much like a cable quality issue.

changed the cable, looks like its running perfectly thank you very much. I just ordered a DisplyPort as well!In my experience, HDMI just doesn't work well with macOS. Sometimes lowering resolution and/or refresh rate can help as can higher quality cables, but it's still not very good. Oddly, the same cable can run great when booted in to Windows.
DisplayPort works best with macOS, but you still need a good quality cable.

I am about to start installation of Mac using your guide, but I did have a question. I noticed that F_USB1 is enabled in your EFI. I have a Fenvi T919 installed with internal USB routed to F_USB1.
I also have a GC-Titan Ridge TB3 Addon Card with internal USB router to F_USB2. Is the F_USB2 internal port disabled by default in your EFI files, and if so is it necessary to enable it to work with the TB3 Addon card? I am attempting to power an LG Ultrafine 5K and have access to the integrated USB-C hub, webcam, and speakers.
Hello all,
I've just finished my first hack-build! It was not easy (some noob problems mostly), but I made it: mostly thanks to @pastrychef EFI and config.
Unfortunately I have USB3 storage issue - it seems, that no USB3 device is detected by MacOS.
My hardware: Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming, i5-9600K, hyper-x 2*16 Gb 2400, Samsung 970 Evo Plus, Broadcom BCM94360CS2 wifi + BT card.
Besides USB3 all is working great.
I used EFI and config from #4 post (this thread), after install I did change system definition to iMac 19.1 (and generated new serial no.)
All settings in bios and bios version itself - same as pastrychef's instructions.
Weirdly I am sure that USB3 disks worked after installation, and just stopped after some reboot.
Any help?

Regards
Hubert
