@trs96 , thank you for the guide again.
I followed the guide and installed 13.6 on my 7010 usff.
My issue is HWMonitor only shows temperature of hard drives.
I am sure that I have put FakeSMC.kext to "kexts/other" folder and all the DSDT files to "acpi/patched" folder.
any idea about this?

@xjzhang1979 I don't know if this will fix your problem, but did you install all 6 fakeSMC***.kexts to the /Library/Extensions using kextbeast?

Thank you Bill888, I misunderstand the "FakeSMC" in the construction. It means all the "FakeSMC***.kexts", not the single file "FakeSMC.kext". It works after I install all other "FakeSMC***.kexts".

I have a 9010 MT (MiniTower). I installed Mojave without the front usb header connected. After installation, the rear ports including the SS (superspeed) USB 3.0 were working. I then connected the front usb header, and now only the USB 2.0 ports front and rear work. The SS (superspeed) USB 3.0 ports do not detect devices at all. I assume it's an issue with port limitation and that the SSDT provided so nicely with this guide is for the SFF (slim form factor) which has a different assortments of USB ports.

When I was running Sierra on this Optiplex, I just used a PCIE USB 3.0 card, so some advice on where to start to troubleshoot this issue would be super. I started down Rehabman's guide of creating a custom SSDT for this machine, but considering I can't even get the computer to detect on the SS USB 3.0 ports, I don't know where that port is in the device tree.

Additionally, if you'd like to see pictures of how I got the front usb header plugged in, access to all 4 sata ports, 2 sata SSDs, ODD, and a 3.5" drive along with a full size 7950, I'd be happy to post those.

Hello. Sorry that you are having problems.

I just wanted to say I have a 7010 and I did not disconnect the front usb header while installing. I actually used it for the usb key. Everything working fine here. I assume you checked in BIOS already.

Do you have the 7010 minitower?

fwiw, USB2 and USB3 front ports work fine on my 9010MT with Mojave with the provided SSDT file.

The front USB3 ports are served by a dedicated blue coloured 20 pin header socket located next to the blue SATA-0 socket. The front audio sockets and USB2 ports are served by the 20 pin cable found on the bottom right hand corner of the motherboard.

Is there any reason why it should differ if I have the i7 vs your i3?

And yes, the usb 3 header is plugged in. Do you mind attaching a screencap of your system report under the usb 3 section?

Have you tried booting your unibeast USB flash drive from front USB3 ports to see if it works.

Go into F5 diagnostics and check front USB3 cable is detected. ie. unplug the cable and an error should occur when you run diagnostics.

System report. I have a single USB2 flash drive inserted into front USB3 port.
The SSDT-USB.aml is from post 1 which I downloaded a week ago.
