For those interested, here's a good link and app to get you started )

Great utility. That version has a bug though. It is supposed to create the folder path ~/Desktop/OpenCore_BootLoader/EFI/OC/Drivers/ but instead of the OC folder it's an OC file so the process fails. I'm able to work around the issue by creating the path myself before answering the VBoxHfs.efi/HfsPlus.efi question. Where can we find the repository for it for future updates?

Edit: Actually that doesn't fix it because it never copies any of the kexts that it downloads prior to that process (Lilu, whatevergreen, AppleALC, etc.).

So we should stick with AptioMemoryFix even with the new Clover? The newest Aptio driver packed in Clover doesn’t work for me.
I am using the one packaged in clover, OsxAptioFix3, and it works but I've been getting the 'denied' symbol once or twice a week on boot since switching from AptioMemoryFix. I used to only get them once a month or so, randomly before. Nothing a quick reboot doesn't fix but still strange that it happens. Does anyone know why or what we can do?

The app only gets you started. It doesn't cover the whole process. That's why I also added the link.

A review of the Sapphire Pulse Radeon 5700 XT:
Is this video card supported on macOS Mojave or Catalina yet?
Thermals are greatly improved, compared with the original single blower fan model.
Also interested by this card. I wonder if Amd will release a 5800 or above before the end of the year.

That doesn’t change the fact that the app has a major bug in it. In its present form it’s essentially useless since most of what it downloads it can’t put in the right place and just disappears. Everything OC EFI Maker does successfully you can do on your own by just downloading the OC Bootloader from Acidanthera’s repo.

Does it give you the SMBIOS infos requested earlier or am I mistaken? If it doesn't I'll edit my previous post.
Edit: The app content has changed since I posted it. The developer is obviously updating it. I'll edit my [previous post.

I don't think you have much choice.....its the OsxAptio Free 2000 utility or AMF......

Guys: use AptioMemoryFix or OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000. One or the other......OsxAptioFix3 on my rig, always fails, never boots.

The reason they fail is typcially (but not always) is because of slide values. To get OsxAptioFix3 to work properly you have to calculate the slide value.....you can try slide=128, but no guarantees, and its better if you calculate itself. Please don't ask me how, I don't and won't use OsxAptioFix3 - just google "OsxAptioFix3 calculating slide values" if you're desperate to use OsxAptioFix3.....

AMF is really good at calculating a slide value that works (but even then it fails from time to time).....OsxAptioFix3 is not.....

I’ll double check when I get back home.

OK, just switched back to AMF.
The new drivers are under drivers/UEFI/ but the old ones were underdrivers64UEFI/
I put AMF in both because I'm not sure which one the latest clover needs for AMF specifically and don't have time to deal with a clone boot at the moment.

Jeez that thing is ugly

The THICC 2 card from XFX is much better, but it's VBIOS is probably garbage as usual.
