Ioreg seems to be normal.

Recently, no fix for H264 green artifacts issue yet, export as HEVC is recommended, basically AMD HEVC rendering performance same as H264 rendering.

On 10.14.5 beta 1, new IOGVAH264Encode property is added to AMDRadeonX4000, seems to be used for fix H264 issue, RX4XX/5XX IOGVA native supported but unfortunately entire AMD IOGVA support is broken on this beta, waiting for next beta release.
That means that we may not need again lilu and whatevergreen in the next macos 10.14.5?
In h264 exporting I noticed the rendering with the settings you suggested is lighting fast compared to iqsv with igpu enabled... but with artifacts.

I do not use WEG at all, no relevant to WEG, but using SMBIOS iMacPro1,1 may cause black screen issue without WEG, need apply AGDP patch and PEGP to GFX0 rename fix before remove WEG kext.

I'll give it a try... thx! Is there a special reason you don't use weg? did you have also random freezes or may be your system more stable without it?

No special reason just do not need it.

Rarely use WEG with RX GPU, sometime may use it for testing, no random freeze was found during tests, issue seems to be no relevant to WEG.

Skroutz - my system is almost identical to yours, and I had similar issues with random freezes where the mouse cursor became a pixelated square. I was having two or three freezes per day, but then I followed ModMike's guide here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...g-i7-8700k-sapphire-rx580-pulse-build.272572/

Since I did that three weeks ago, I have not had a single freeze. Perhaps it will help you too.
Wow that's wondeful news fazzoletto! Yes the pixelate square!! Im very happy that someone had exact same issue as me and found a solution... a hope just born in my black heart!!
Did you discover what was causing the random freezes or you just followed the guide at post #1 from the link you shared and everything went well?

I tried to isolate the source of the freezes through experimentation as you have done. I tried pretty much everything you did to no avail. I am not sure what it was that fixed the issue, but after updating the bios of the Hero XI and following ModMike's guide, the freezes just stopped.

I just upgrade bios from 0805 to 0903 version. The only difference I can see throught the bios settings is "fast boot" which was enbaled in my case and now I did disabled it as the guide suggests.I haven't found the time to do a fresh install but last 2 days I didn't have freezes. That's connected with the xmp profile which now is disabled and my ram runs at 2133mhz instead of 3200mhz with the xmp settings. The guide you sent me isn't talking about xmp at all. When you followed the guide did you enable xmp profile or you left it disabled? I remember I have tried before with xmp disabled and my system had freezes very rarely. Can you please share what is the brand and model of the ram you are using?

Hello

can you disable the USB 3 kext

I have seen this issue since old ver of OSX

if Random Freezes gone then tell me how to get ur usb 3 work without any Freeze

I have the same RAM you have, and mine is at 2133 mHz too. You're right: ModMike's guide does not say anything about XMP profiles.I have the AI Overclocker Tuner on auto now; it used to be on XMP I. Maybe the freezes have something to do with that.
