Start over. Follow the guide step by step.

Thx. I removed the Multibeast generated EFI and replaced with the EFI from the Usb flash drive (created by Unibeast). Then I can boot Mojave from the SSD. So something went wrong when I used Multibeast.

I also checked the VRAM for the HD4600. I have only 7MB VRAM.

I have the full 1536 VRAM... I could not use the Multibeast generated EFI either. I had problems with it. When your Clover boots do get a preboot option?

@tatios, Yes I did change to UEFI and SSD selected, I don't think i would be able to install at all if it wasn't changed to UEFI.
I installed with BIOS set to legacy... the USB was not APFS so it was not needed. When I upgraded to Mojave the spinning drive was converted to APFS. With the USB installed Clover on the USB would boot up then I could select the drive and boot into Mojave. I could not boot without USB until I changed BIOS to UEFI an selected the drive... I still see Clover and I select preboot option and it boots into Mojave normally

Just updated Clover to the latest Stable Version via Cover Configurator and..... bang, black screen at OSX loader. No go. I can see why people always say, back up entire System Drive/EFI Partition before doing anything.

The changes in the background of Clover and Clover Configurator can alter things... what you need to select and what you need to add... it took me a long time to figure out that the easiest install is to use the files that are about the same age. That being said I am using Clover 4895 and Clover Configurator from last week... I am amazed at how much this has evolved in the years I have been messing with Hackintosh. I just plugged in my earlier Clover folder... I do keep a working Hackintosh that I can use to fix things...

We're back in business. By chance I'd mounted then copied the EFI partition (Clover Configurator) on the System drive to my Toshiba USB drive which also has an EFI partition (Apple format is good like that). With both mounted, I'd simply copied using Finder, the EFI from the System to the Toshiba.

When we replaced the Hack SSD with a PC SSD we were suddenly presented with the old Clover (4630) from the Toshiba. So in the Bios we changed the Boot Order to boot from the Toshiba. We restarted the machine and hey presto, it started Clover (4630) and Defaulted to OSX High Sierra. With the system working I mounted the System and the Toshiba and simply deleted the System EFI and then copied the EFI folder back from the Toshiba, restarted and the old version was back. Don't forget to set the boot order back.

I have been there before... very similar solution.

@tatios, do you mind sharing your EFI folder with the full 1536 VRAM option ?

Thank You

I would share the folder... Can someone tell me how to share the folder??? It seems I can attach individual files but not a folder.

I have removed the serial numbers and identifiers so you will see some blanks in the SMBios. The file might not be as clean as it could be as I haven't had time to experiment with what can be removed. I got to this point by using an existing install of High Sierra and then altering the EFI Folder so it would boot on the Dell 9020 SFF machine. Once I had HS working I did an upgrade to Mojave straight from Apple. It took a long to to upgrade as my drive was converted to APFS. I spent a lot of time looking at different installs for different machines so I don't know who to credit.

I could send the folder as an attachment to an email... I don't know how to attach the folder... it will allow me to attach files. Do you just want plist and kext?
