how to change display output monitor/hdmi/vga to LCD BUILTIN.
my pc is dell optiplex 9010 aio- "with monitor lcd in one"

Hi @bobtheflyingsquirrel,
i7 2600 - May need some work to get it working here and note the difference in memory speeds available between Sandy and Ivy bridge chips - not sure why you need additional fan? I thought the 2600 ran quite cool.
Trim - Im not certain but thought the current thinking was that it wasnt needed? Did the Quadro card work without any additional config? Prices for the cards seem much more expensive this side of the pond.Ebay - Quadro 420
Would you mind keeping us posted on the 2600.

@jakakecu - Hi - not sure but have you tried the process described for a machine that has HD4000 graphics? I have no knowledge of the AIO but have some expectation that it might just work without any special configuration. That expectation is based on the idea that Dell would have used a display port output on the AIO and not the VGA. If you do try it and it fails please report back where it fails.

I have an i5-3550 installed but will be attempting to switch to an i7-2600 for its hyperthreading once my fan adapters arrive from China.
Why not the i7-3770 ? Remember that we are using the Mac mini 6,1 or 6,2 system definition which is for 2012 minis not the 2011 versions. If the 3770 costs slightly more it's probably worth it.
I've just finished setting up an Optiplex 7010 SFF with this guide and it was about as seamless as is possible.
Good to hear the guide was easy to implement and worked well for you. It was community member @Sniki that resolved the USB problems on these Dells. So he deserves credit for how well this works too.

While looking for a graphics card, I found that the Kepler-based Quadro cards (K410, K420, K600) are low-profile and have DisplayPort 1.2 compatibility.
The NVS510 by Nvidia (Dell and HP branded) is basically the same card (GK107) as the Quadro K600 but has 2GB of vram and 4 mini DP outputs. So if anyone needs 2 or 3 4K monitors they want to run for video and photo editing, Autocad etc. The NVS510 is another great choice. Sells for about 60 USD on Ebay. You'll need to buy some adapters if you don't have a monitor that takes miniDP input. Note that these cards are not intended for gaming purposes.

If you want one complete, like new with all 4 miniDP to DP adapters, high and LP brackets. Have a look here:

You might be able to do that in the BIOS. If not I think you could install Windows and change it that way. I've never owned one of these but one person reported getting an HP 8300 AIO working with HD4000. You did get the version with the i7-3770S installed right ? If so try connecting an HDMI cable to the back panel (#4 port) and plug it into a known working monitor with an HDMI input. That will at least tell you whether it works at all.

G. Download "SSDTs Dell Optiplex" zip file from the end of this post and copy and paste allof those files in that folder to the /Clover/ACPI/patched folder in the EFI partition of your USB

trs96,

I noticed that you have added several ssdt.aml files to your guide, but I see no mention of HOW TO USE them, or where to place them.

OK @Grizz I took a look at the problems you are having with Acronis. Looks like the 2017 version has a problem seeing the APFS formatted macOS drive when you are booting from Win10 PE SE. When I try to open the drive in Windows Explorer (AKA File Explorer) it asks me if I want to format the drive. Since we've booted from a Win10 PE USB Drive, Acronis thinks we are making a Clone on a PC instead of on a Mac.

So it probably isn't going to work this way. When I cloned HS (HFS+) it worked with no problems. I think that ATI 2017 came out before Apple was even using APFS at all. What you can do is use Super Duper to make a clone or if you want to buy Acronis 2019 and install it on your CustoMac that will work to make a clone.

Here's a link to where you can buy ATI 2019. Newegg also has deals and discounts if you sign up for email blasts from them.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GVP1GSJ/?tag=tonymacx86com-20
This gives you 3 licenses for $13.33 each. You can use one and sell the other two to your friends or family to help save some money. It's important to have this on a Hackintosh as you've discovered, a lot of things can and will go wrong.
Do not buy the ISO versions that sell for $5 or less from Ebay as they are all pirated. As we say, don't feed the pirates by paying them for what they've stolen.

Here's a video demo showing how easy it is to clone with Acronis TI 2019 installed on your CustoMac.

trs96,

I figured it must be something along those lines. I appreciate the link to the ACRONIS 2019. I will look into that avenue.

Find it odd that the HS installation changed the HDD (which was formatted) as GUID (HFS+) when I began the process) to APFS. When did it do this during the installation?

Feartech,

Yes - I did that. I had already installed HS per the guide. But these files are new and appear to be machine specific (and CPU). I was just curious what (if anything) needed to be done with that file, as the .ZIP file appears to be different.
