Oh didn't see that. Cool. Do I still have to do the DVMT Patching to it? Thanks!

Yes you do unfortunately, unless you've already set it in previous BIOS versions.

Well I just find out that 860 EVO 2TB is more or less the same price of the WD Black 1TB.

Now it becomes if I want more space or faster speed. LOL

Yes, NVMe is faster than SATA, therefore more expensive per GB.
With laptops power management and heat come into play as well (better PM with the SATA device).

Yes it does. Because you don't use ACPIBatteryManager anymore, but SMCBattery instead.

The only visible downside is that virtualSMC doesn't (yet) support some of the wider CPU reporting that FakeSMC did, such as multiplier and clock speeds, but that's presumably just a few patches away.

I have one more issue, when i trying to use VirtualSMC/SMCBM notebook keyboard didn't work. Have you faced same problem?

Thanks!

I still use VoodooPS2Controller to drive the keyboard. VoodooI2C is just for the trackpad.

Just updated to BIOS .10 without any trouble, FYI.
