@ibizalove maybe is some software that prevents laptop from sleep , something like uTorrent , or alike, or your bios settings . try using as mine . I assure you that mine works .allow some 15-20 (max) secs to enter sleep .

Hi Liniaunu I get the sleep wake issue on a fresh install with absolutely no third party software in High Sierra and Mojave. My BIOS settings matched yours for the most part but because we have different machines you're missing some of the setting that I have so it's not a direct match between our settings. I would need someone with this exact machine who has had success and I have not seen anyone from my research that has this machine working with Mojave. If they do they have never posted a success story as RehabMan suggested.

Comments:
- WiFi card must be replaced as per post #1
- PXE* options should be disabled
- VTx can be enabled (but VTd disabled still)
- AMT should probably be disabled

Rehabman I had a very faint glimmer of hope and then it vanished. I did some research on Backlight fixes for hackintosh and stumbled across your page talking about Applebacklightfixup.kext https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ontrol-using-applebacklightfixup-kext.218222/ I noticed you already included Applebacklightfixup.kext in your latest guide but you did not include SSDT-PNLF.aml in EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched (I also tried the old IntelBacklight.kext but that didn't work) anyway I downloaded a fresh copy of your AppleBacklightFixUp.kext with SSDT-PNLF.aml and installed both. It might have been a fluke but when my screen went to black I immediatley rubbed the trackpad and IT CAME BACK ON!!! With hope in my heart I tried to replicate this and let the display go to sleep again. Alas it didn't work and the display stayed black. From then on I haven't been able to replicate the one time success even after many restarts. Is there another backlight kext method that I can use? Another "fix" I tried was turning off screen sleep by putting energy saver slider to never for both battery and power adapter. Then I just turned down the brightness to black manually when I want to sleep the display. Unfortunately after a period of time the screen will not respond to brightness control and stays very dark. It's not completely black and in a pitch black room I can faintly see the screen is on and controls are working but the screen stays extremely dark. Does this all have to do with Backlight control or is it another issue altogether?

mr. @RehabMan can you advise me to build a desktop based on intel NUC ?

Off-topic. Refer to my NUC guides in the Mojave desktop guides forum.

SSDT-PNLF content is already in the model specific SSDT. Do not install SSDT-PNLF.aml.
"display sleep" is the initial sleep state, computer sleep comes after about 15-20 seconds (or longer).

Did you try patching EDID as mentioned in common problems?

Guys just after fresh install of high sierra back cause I didn't liked Mojave much.
And as things changed much from last install I've done years back booting is now slightly slower with AppleALC, Lilu and others. Got one problem only. Sometime boot is really slow and got this booting verbose. Have a look on screenshot please.

Problem reporting files attached ;)
Thanks in advance!

As per guide, apfs.efi should not be in drivers64UEFI (it is done by ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi).
You forgot to update your config.plist.

Fixed, thank you! :) Will report if long booting happens again ;)

Updated to Mojave on my 840g3

Everything seems to be working. No troubles with sleep / wake.
Using dark theme, no issues. Sound and Siri working fine.

I have a zbook G3, will try to update it in the next days.

Thanks, Rehabman

Updated new BIOS in probook 440 g5 i5-8250U, then updated to Mojave follow the post#1, everything works ok!
Thanks for all the hard work, RehabMan!
