Skylake HD530 - Sleeps but won't wake

Any news on the subject? Would love to have sleep without discrete GPU. After waking black screen for few moments, and then restart.

Coffee Lake is the only reliable solution at the moment.

My new system behaves like this:
Energy savings settings are: Computer 1h, Monitor 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes the monitor is sleeping as it should.
After 1 h the complete system sleeps.
Waking up reactivates the system very short and restarts immediately then.

I have changed settings to hibernate instead of sleeping for now. This is better then getting restart after waking up.
sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 25

@Ramalama

Hi, i recently saw your post at Piker's Blog about HD530 sleep. I know it's one year ago but can you maybe tell us something about how you did that fix to AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer? This sadly seems to work only at your configuration. Maybe you can tell us how you got those values.
I'm running my HD530 currently connectorless for hardware acceleration only. Monitor is connected to Radeon card.
My system sleeps but after wake HD530 isn't accessible any more. Similar/same problem like other folks running without dedicated Nvidia/ATI GPU.

##edit##
Meanwhile sleep/wake works now by some DSDT fixes. But only in connectorless mode. For primary display it still doesn't wake.

So, what's the overall experience with the hibernatemode workaround? How many of you get the issue fixed with it, and for how many doesn't work? Any hint on why it doesn't work for everybody?
Got mine working with HibernationFixup.kext (and "-hbfx-patch-pci" when using ASUS motherboard) boot argument.

I even got hybrid hibernate working with hibernatemode=3, which I was dreaming of, for years (instant wake if power is uninterrupted during sleep or resume from hibernate if it is), but for some reason if I leave it for few hours I find my box powered off and not hibernated (with both standby=0 and autopoweroff=0)

Hybrid hibernate doesn't work on HD 530/630 without discrete video card of course.

Still there is a sleep/wake problem for HD530 in High Sierra 10.13.5?
Does nobody find any fix?

Is machine available for screen share over network when screen is black?
... hmm ... suddenly, post I've replied to, is gone ...

Anyone find any solutions for getting it to wake successfully? Hibernate doesn't even seem to work for me

@Cokeb5, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard, CPU and iGPU or Graphics Card(s).
If you have a prebuilt computer enter make and model instead of motherboard.
