Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition

I managed to get everything running using the 18.3 definition. If I use 17.1 the screen stays black and screen sharing doesn't work. Any ideas why 17.1 isn't working?

Same issue with my computer.

HDMI boots in black screen.
Display port - gives pink hue and night shifts keeps coming on no matter what setting i have in nightshift.

Is there a way to use HDMI and DisplayPort ports on a RX560 on a 18,3 SMBIOS?

I had to switch back to 14,2 and dual monitors work pretty well with the RX560.

Is there also a way to do this without the AGDPfix on config file?

Same here for HDMI... Weird problem, it worked for months under Sierra, I shut down my computer yesterday, I didn't touch anything on the config, and today, glitch / black screen just before the "login screen"... I tried all the tricks I know to repair my system, and finally, it's the HDMI port which doesn't work anymore... I have to use my GTX960 on the DVI port. I don't understand...

I am having the same issue but on the gtx960
any fix??

For others who experience in blank screen after boot. Just config colver with nvdisable=yes, then after you can enter the osx. Install nvidia web driver and restart. Check boot option to nvdisable, and boot to osx again. Open Multibeast High seirra and check the option in graphics for nvidia web driver + fix nvidia graphic card. After finished, restart your osx again. You may pass the blank screen. Hope this might help.

10.13.3 imac 18,3 smbios, 8700k, GTX 1060 -> I get a black screen when using dvi and hdmi. If i use hdmi and DP, it works, or if i boot with just hdmi it works. This is even with all the graphicsfixup kexts. Also, if using DP and HDMI, it works even without any special graphics kexts.

I had the strangest issue where suddenly my screen (also connected via DVI cable), running on a GTX 1080, just started going to black after booting. After trying many methods, I stumbled upon this tip saying to insert this kext into my config.plist, in the section "KextsToPatch":

...which solved it immediately!

Didn't work. :(

I have an Asus Prime Z370-A with i7-8700K and Nvidia GT 1030 2GB
I have 2 Full HD monitors connected to the Nvidia.
System Definition is 18,3.
Quick Synch enabled (ig-platform-id 59120003). All works very well BUT one thing:
- On boot when BOTH monitor are switched on and connected to the NVidia the PC goes into a BLACK SCREEN after Apple Logo and the boot doesn't complete.
I must disconnect the second monitor prior to booting to have a proper boot. THEN, after boot I can connect the 2nd screen and it works.
How to solve this so I don't have to disconnect the monitor prior to booting?
Nvidia has a DVI + HDMI ports.

Thanks.
