@kgp Thanks for the great guide.

My x299 7940x is running fine with Asrock TAICHI XE.
No crashes, no kernal panic. System is more quiet on MAC OS than windows.
Shut down works, Sleep is troublesome. USB drives ejected at wakeup, also no audio after sleep. Nvidia driver works, also installed Cuda driver. I am on 10.13.5.

@RuleBreaker01, thanks for the Efi folder.
I didn't do much, since been busy with other work.
Audio is done, Apple ALC with patching. All rear USB 3 works, but the icon shows as standard internal drives. Still I can eject the drive in right click menu.
USB 3.1 type A is exactly working as external USB drive.
The two front panel USB 3 don't work, USB 2 ports works.
I found @justdatruth also using TAICHI XE.
Is it possible to correct the front USB ports, Also solution for wifi adapter to function?

Oooh, here's hoping we see some AICs based on Titan Ridge soon. I could use some of that sweet, sweet DP 1.4 standard 5K output!
I am waiting for Asrock Titan Ridge AIC.
Challenging time ahead for @kgp and team.

Z370 Asrock MITX MB is out with Titan Ridge.

Can anybody explain AppleALC.kext + Lilu.kext implementation since the guide is pretty complex? I tried doing what’s written in the guide with no success.
Just put those two in your kext/Other folder, and using Clover Configurator, go into devices section and in the "Audio" tab, enter the value needed: typically 7 or 11.

That's all.

@justdatruth runs a very lean EFI, I started with his a while back.
Otherwise, no, there's no solution for getting the built-in wifi adapter to work, you must change it for a broadcom one.

Despite, the ASRock Intel one is pretty crappy to start with anyway

And the DSDT Patch? I've done the same but audio is not showing at all! Could be important that I use OSXAptioFix2000 and EmuVariableUefi and slide=0 to boot /nvram? AptioOSX in @kgp EFI not works for me :banghead:

Add your USB devices to spotlights privacy tab under system preferences and it won’t eject.

It might even fix your sleep issues.

If someone messes it up with main EFI folder, how to restore the previous working one if the main drive isn't bootable at all? I know, it's a noob question :headbang:
