Have a working high sierra setup which never gives me any problems. Trying to direct install or install to another drive the public beat of Mojave gives me a black screen when it goes to init the graphics.

Not really sure where to start as I would have thought the Radeon was Natively supported as it works fine in High Sierra.

Here is a screen shot of where it blanks out. It appears the install keeps going as there is hard drive activity but no image.

Sorry for the crappy screen shot grabbed this before I went of to work this morning.

What other information could I provide to see if I can get this sorted ??

Anybody have this card working fine in Mojave ??

The SysDef 17,1 is probably your problem. I was using 18,3 on MyHero II but lost the 580's DP ports when I updated to 10.13.4. So, one user discovered by switching to 14,2 (using MultiBeast) his black screen was fixed which I successfully did, too. So, since I've not tried Mojave, yet, I can't tell you how to change your SysDef but try 14,2.

Ok will give that a go tonight, Interesting your port failed on 18,3 but works on 14,1.

Have clover config which works fine with Mojave so will try changing to 14,1

Will try the hdmi first and see if that works as well.

To be continued tonight ...

17,1 will work fine, you just need to use the correct SSDT injections. Upload your original DSDT and I can make a SSDT for you. Clover boot menu hit F4 to get a copy of original DSDT, it will be located in EFI>Clover>ACPI>origin

To be on the safe side I have uploaded the complete origin folder. Thank you very much for your help.
