No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

config.plist changed to disable audio
Remove config.plist/AC{I/DSDT/Patches/Item 0 (Rename HDAS to HDEF)
Add config.plist/Devices/Audio/Inject/1

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm having trouble following your instructions though.

I've found this section that you reference. Which pieces should I remove?

Code:
<array>
                                <dict>
                                        <key>Comment</key>
                                        <string>Rename HDAS to HDEF</string>
                                        <key>Find</key>
                                        <data>
                                        SERBUw==
                                        </data>
                                        <key>Replace</key>
                                        <data>
                                        SERFRg==
                                        </data>
                                </dict>
                        </array>

And you ask me to add to config.plist/Devices/Audio/Inject/1. Can you elaborate? Would it go somewhere near here? And what exactly am I adding?

Code:
        <key>Devices</key>
        <dict>
                <key>FakeID</key>
                <dict>
                        <key>ATI</key>
                        <string>0x0</string>
                        <key>IMEI</key>
                        <string>0x0</string>
                        <key>IntelGFX</key>
                        <string>0x0</string>
                        <key>LAN</key>
                        <string>0x0</string>
                        <key>NVidia</key>
                        <string>0x0</string>
                        <key>SATA</key>
                        <string>0x0</string>
                        <key>WIFI</key>
                        <string>0x0</string>
                        <key>XHCI</key>
                        <string>0x0</string>
                </dict>
                <key>USB</key>

I apologize, but I'm not very familiar with directly editing a config.plist file.

Thanks!

having trouble following your instructions though
See Post #1/Tools/5. Property List Editors
Do not use a text editor on a .plist file

In the property list editor:
use cut to delete a property
use paste to add a property

no audio devices
Kaby Lake device_id patch is not working
Installed 3 times, remove 2 patches:
config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/Item 2 and Item 3 (Unsupported_Audio_Device_ID_Kaby_Lake)
Save, restart, reply with new files.

Kaby Lake device_id patch is not working
Try Quick Fix: Z370/200/X299/ Series Kaby Lake Audio/Method 2
I installed FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext with KextBeast, i've made 2 restart but no audio devices. (should i delete the last config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/Unsupported_Audio_Device_ID_Kaby_Lake ??)

(edit)
Now i see a codecdevice and a codecVendorid = 0x10ec1168

I'm in the same boat as @matakapo15: DPCIManager can see my ALC1150 codec, and HDEF is present in IOReg, but I don't see any output or devices, even with FakePCIID installed.
