Thank you very much

No bluetooth on the USB bus. Maybe you failed to set correct BIOS settings,... see post #1.
(in particular, "fast boot" must be disabled).

Ok thank's I recently upgrade laptop bios and the fast boot option was enabled, now working all perfectly.

May be a limit of macOS graphics drivers. I don't know of any Mac laptops with multiple external ports.
You can always experiment with framebuffer patching, DMVT-prealloc settings, etc.

Will give that a shot, thank you.

I also just got WiFi and BT working by purchasing a Broadcom BCM94352Z NGFF card.

RehabMan,

Can you take a look at my EFI?

I keep getting an apple dialog popping up saying that my EFI is corrupt and asking for pemission to send the EFI dump to apple. This is happening on my HP ProBook 650 G1 g8l26us, i5-4300m Haswell, HD4600 1920x1080, Bios 01.39 Rev.A, 43225HMB.

The only change I have made recently was to move the SMBIOS settings out of the main plist and put in smbios.plist, of course it could have been wrong before making that change and this is something new with 10.13 but I have not seen this on my 850 G3.

Attach image of the specific "dialog" you have showing.
Perhaps you need EFICheckDisabler.kext... (I created one a while back, you can find with google).

Hi hi,

Here I am once again! I decided to reinstall mainly to ditch the APFS with the countless recommendations to try HFS+J, so I did that. Everything still works flawlessly (apart from the DP issue but I'll look into that myself later, you've done plenty of help to get me started there).

* I now have kernel panics on shutdown as stated that it may happen in your guide, the logs should be in the generated debug zip.
* For both installs, for small tasks the laptop gets insanely slow (opening Outlook for example), audio and mouse cursor starts lagging (on both AC & DC). Activity Monitor shows a generally high CPU usage.
I've made sure to NOT do the ssdtPreGen as stated. I assume this has to do with the power management (/clocking). Could you have a look and see if you find anything off in my logs?

USB customization not done for your laptop yet.
See post #1 "USB customization".
Also read here for background information (and port limit patches required):
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-creating-a-custom-ssdt-for-usbinjectall-kext.211311/

Also, remove:
- Sound Flower

Do a fresh install if you have installed other software not part of this guide...

Why do all panic reports show -shikivga=1 kernel flag when this flag is not present in the config.plist?

EmuVariableUefi-64.efi is not generally combined with AptioMemoryFix.efi. Remove EmuVariableUefi-64.efi from drivers64UEFI.

Next time it happens I will get a screen shot.

I'm just as surprised as you. I did do a fresh install. I removed the EmuVariableUefi.
I did get a random nvme kernel panic. (Yes, I am using an unsupported Intel NVMe SSD, reinstalled to HFS+J instead of APFS though). I'll try out the guide you linked, thanks!
