Everything set for 10.14.. don’t worry.. ;)
You hacked Mojave too? You’re great :p

Please answer my last question: will sleep-wake work on unpatched 1301 MSR unlocked (I know we’re waiting to test 1401 but I’d like to now if in 1301 it works). A part from copying your downloadable EFI folder (TSCAdjustRest added) on my system drive and usb install drive, what else should I do next? You defined this “a basic installation” end you said subsequent configs are exposed in your guide but I can’t figure out what you mean. The main guide is really complete, as well as a bit complex.

Thank you man, I mean... really.

Hey, @kgp.

Thanks for this tutorial. I wouldn't have gotten my build working at all if it weren't for your help. I have the exact same motherboard you do (ASUS Prime X299 DELUXE) but with a i7-7820X and a GTX 1060 card. I've followed everything step-by-step. I ran into a snag with getting audio to work, but I was able to get it to work with FakePCIID (for some odd reason it's the only thing that worked) and cloverALC. I haven't yet done anything with thunderbolt, but I will install Windows soon and give that a go.

I'm hitting a bit of a snag when doing everything in "E.9.2) SSDT-X299-iMacPro.aml PCI Implementation". Using MaciASL I've removed the extra cards I don't have and put the asl file in EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched. I don't believe I'm getting any changes because if I disable the CAVS -> HDEF instruction in Clover's config.plist audio stops working. Since my card is a 1060 instead of a 1080 would there be anything I would need to change in the HDAU part? That's not showing up in the audio prefpane either.

Some sleep/wake issues with unpatched BIOS firmware 10.13...

Please read my guide; e.g. see Section E.) - Post Installation (much can be done here, impossible not to figure out what I mean or I refer to)

Rulebreaker01, I may have found the issue with stuttering BT audio and this might help you too.

I have an iPhone X that's usually connected to 5Ghz Wifi and BT is enabled (BT is on 2.4Ghz band) and I have a wireless charger on my desk. If I turn on Airplane mode and disable Wifi (basically all phone radios are off) the BT audio connection doesn't stutter much anymore on the desktop.

Things that interfere with Bluetooth audio: USB 3.0 cables/hard drives & cell phones (especially ones that use Bluetooth on 2.4Ghz band).

Hmm, BT is off on my phone typically, I have it on the iPad however..

It's weird though that it's perfect when running Windows, only bad on macOS.

BTW, AMD replied to me that they could do advanced replacement too, however I was in the US this past week so didn't act on it yet. I've been using mostly windows the few days before I left, to check that it was a graphic card issue and not macOS. I never had any problems in Windows :(

Did you download the most recent SSDT-X299-iMacPro.aml implementation? It already contains the CAVS -> HDEF ACPI replacement!

I did. That's the one I edited to remove the networking and wifi card I don't have (yet). However, if I use the exact SSDT-X299-iMacPro.aml nothing seems to happen.

What can I do?
