You should check in Windows to see which port are connected to Intel, which port is connected to Nvidia (both may be connected to Intel, or both may be connected to Intel).

Then you need to make any port connected to Intel work macOS... that way when you connect a device to the port, you can see which port it is connected to by looking at ioreg.

Once you have the ioreg data, you can disable the framebuffer ports that weren't used with the appropriately crafted patch.

You need to plug a monitor into each port, then check display "Properties" to see which device it is connected to.

Okay so HDMI is connected to Nvidia
I don't have a way to connect to DP but in Intel Control panel under connector type it says: embedded DP so I think that is the info we need.

Why can't you connect to DP?
Without knowing which device to which it is connected, you cannot proceed properly.

I thought you said your laptop had both DP and HDMI?
Or when you say "don't have a DP connector" you mean "don't have a DP cable/adapter"?
DP->HDMI adapters or cables are not expensive.

There is no way to know which ports are used in the framebuffer or which device the ports are connected to without connecting a device.

Of course, you already know that your HDMI is connected to Nvidia (therefore not connected to Intel).
So if you want to, you could eliminate all external ports from the ig-platform-id data, and then your DP port, even if it is connected to Intel, will just not work if you go to use it. Your choice to do that if you wish.

No.
The author of the ELAN kext has decided to keep it closed source, even though it violates the APSL.
I would probably write my own ELAN PS2 kext if I had the hardware.

But the future is I2C. Your trackpad can probably operate in I2C mode. See link in FAQ.

No numlock on Macs, so this is not surprising. Software such as Karabiner might be able to help you there.
