Then install the Web Driver.. Obviously it is still not installed! Not even after 8 hours... :banghead:;)
That is why sometimes TeamViewer is a beautiful thing, and I use it very often with my clients :p
Belive me I had minimum few thousands of situations like that :p and after first 100 you can be tired but later, more often you can't stop laugh  with a difference what did you said and what people done after while, or simply how they understood :p

PS: about ffltt -I will try to help him in few minutes :)

Hey @kgp - do you think it would be a good idea to split another thread that is for help for your guide ?

There is often great updates you give that are drowned out by requests for help and word storms for pages.

Would be great to be able to read the important stuff without pages of irrelevant questions

Thanks

Honestly, no idea what to do.. splitting the thread would not help me in answering the increasing accumulation of rum-dum questions, which obviously lack any base of knowledge...

To not totally loose the tracking of the important things, I try to highlight my guide updates and all important new implementations already for quite some time with red bold face letters and with my avatar...

But still, they just perish within the daily spam along this thread...

Seems there is no space left for really important questions or valuable and helpful feedback and contributions..

Completely understand man. You are non stop answer level 1 questions, user errors etc.

Not saying it would lower your support of all these lower knowledge people. Just that it might make your guide's important info easier to see.

Just a comment, and thank you for all your help - Is great having a amazing "iMacPro" that just works !

Yea.. please do that.. help him to install a simple Web Driver ;).. the last 8 hours he was not able to do so..

The problem is that after solving one of his issues the next issue will jump up for sure within seconds ;)

It is like driving a car that runs on one wheel..

It is just that this kind of support hampers me in doing really important things and moreover takes all my time... After splitting the thread, I still would have to answer on the same kind of problems and issues, just within another additional thread..

Seems that there is not really any solution or way out of this persistent problem..

Such is life...

However, I feel deeply sorry that the experienced reader gets permanently lost within the endless repeating confusion by some avoidable user feedback, which is just the result of a substantial lack of knowledge and the lack of the most basics. This certainly masks the else in my opinion still high quality of the entire thread already dramatically.

Out of 5200 posts, 50% might just consist of spam, personal offences, weird conspiracies or invalid suspicions, which could be directly deleted..

Quantity certainly does not imply quality.. despite my extensive efforts in moderating this thread in the most clever and diligent way possible with outermost personal patience and respect to others...

No problem - we will also deal with the spam - and look to find your useful updates.

Thanks ! and sorry to see the amount of expectations for help put on you after creating such a great guide

Ok, after verification of his ..157 web driver installation, that was true, it was a little bug/buggy :D
so we've patched 106 version 3 minutes ago, deleted 157, now install 106...
(it's much faster when you can see something/and do something alone... even if you have so low internet connection like mine :p)
So... in few minutes we will see if it's works correctly :)

Well I know I've suggested in the past @ccozmo the same thing. At first I was thinking manufacture specific / model type board specific sub-threads but that can really only take flight if dedicated users like @kgp are willing to co-sponsor the so to speak sub-threads. If not then then I feel at least 1 additional sub-thread to be open so that it works in conjunction with the main thread.

Could be split in 2 threads like Standard and Advanced type of deal.

1st could be focused on just getting all iX299 PROs running with un-flashed bios, basic efi, voodootsc, etc... .

2nd / (or Main thread) could be called Fine-tune like this thread we're in now where @kgp and other advanced users are doing their thing :headbang: (mainly for the X299 Prime-Deluxe which may not work well with other boards fine tune-wise *I personally get random panics now more than ever after flashing with new bios patches but I have and Rampage VI Extreme but I will not come here to complain about it as I don't have PRIME-Deluxe). But nonetheless Gratitude all contributors for this awesome resource to X299 Hackintoshing.

Though I would still aim for board specific but to begin with a starter and advanced thread I believe would suffice and help filter out a lot of what we see. Just my opinion and suggestion.

Peace

For @dk1306 and those, who want to use SATA hot plug.

You need to add one patch in KextsToPatch.

This is by SunKi from insanelymac

This works on my Asus Prime X299-A and should work on all X299.
