Hi everyone,
after an unsuccessful live search, I'm posting my question here: Does anybody know if the HP ProBook 470 G5 is hackintoshable in the way described on the first page? The G4 is the last mentioned there.
TIA and a happy and healthy (!!!) 2018

No specs/details, no idea.
Read post #1, "Unsupported laptops".

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete (no verbose boot photo attached, forgot to press F2 and F4).
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Also, you need to describe clearly what you're doing. I can't tell from your description whether you are booting the installer from USB or whether you're booting the installer from EFI/Clover on SSD. And you didn't mention which version of the installer you're trying to boot.
After successfully do a post-installation (install kext to /L/E/, copy aml and config to /EFI), I cannot boot from the USB installer. It seems FakeSMC.kext both in /L/E/ and /USB/CLOVER/ cause this problem...
1. create usb installer 10.11.6
2. boot from usb and install 10.11.6 to drive
3. boot from use and do post-install
4. boot from disk0s1/EFI is ok now
5. plug usb installer, and boot from usb installer, cannot boot

Hello,
I have successfully installed El Capitan as per the guide on my HP Probook 4540s. [Thanks a million for Rehabman] I'm trying to install/ upgrade macOS Sierra & High Sierra but getting same error on both ways (whether I install from USB or upgrade directly from the app "unsupported CPU reporter" after some time another error appears "kextd stall 0 appleacpicpu" and stuck there. I have tried every step i.e. change SMBIOS, boot with different flags such as CPUS=1 maxmem=4096 GraphicsEnabler=No Yes, etc., but still getting same error. Can anyone can help me to understand this error?

One thing I have noticed during boot with El Capitan USB system reaches iographics flags 0x43 it comes to the installer screen. But if I boot with Sierra or High Sierra it shows iographics flags 0x43 (0x51). Is that cause the problem? I assume its related to the GraphicsCard (Intel HD 4000) if I am not wrong?

Is anyone experiencing the problem unsupported CPU reporter installing macOS Sierra & High Sierra? Please help me on this point.

Thanking you all in advance especially Rehabman.

It is because no kexts will be injected when you're booting your system partition because FakeSMC.kext is installed and InjectKexts="Detect".
And your ACPI lacks the needed injections for SATA.
In particular, SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext is not injected, and it is not installed either... and you don't have the SATA injections (SSDT-SATA.dsl related code) that are assumed by install_downloads.sh.

Solution: You can force injection of kexts via Clover (from spacebar menu), which will then cause SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext to be injected, or you could install SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext to your system volume.

Your kexts in Clover/kexts/Other are not up-to-date.
Read guide for correct content:

I'm not entirely sure where to start with getting USB ports on my docking station functional- I've followed the USB Customization instructions in the first post and have attached my ioreg to this post. Is there anyone that can help guide me through this? Much appreciated.

As per post #1, you must boot without caches, rebuild cache, then reboot.
Your first clue that you failed to boot without caches is the fact that AppleHDA.kext does not show in your kextcache output.

Also, you have the wrong version of Clover installed. Use the latest RehabMan build as recommended in my guide.

The ioreg you attached does not show any results of port discovery.
Or your dock has no USB3 ports? Or you neglected to test with USB3 devices? (for you to verify if that is the case)

As per post #1, you must run IORegistryExplorer, then keep it running while you test all ports, then come back and save the ioreg.
