HELP NEEDED - can't get High Sierra to boot

For Backup: go to the EFI-folder on your USB drive and compress it to EFI-working.zip. Should you need to restore it, you can plug it in into your macbook, delete the EFI folder and unzip your backup.

@hdv79 gotcha! I just booted without the USB so that's a huge improvement!
so replacing the backed up EFI folder will also delete changes made by MultiBeast?

Multibeast changes EFI/Clover/config.plist. You can duplicate that file to config.plist.working. Later you can compare the config changed by Multibeast and your working config.

@hdv79 by the way, is there a way to save the current config.plist file so that I can access it later in Clover boot if I need to?

If MultiBeast messes things up again, I might not be able to get to terminal that easily...

Not sure I understand. Should I not use the previous version of MultuBeast? You mean I should wait with implementing it?

I'd fiddle with Multibeast on the EFI of your usb drive because it's easy to restore if necessary.
I always used the latest version of multibeast. Audio seems to be fixed with the new version.
Read the guide lines in #1.
