As noted in the installation section of the guide -

Now to solve the issue of boot order…The HP Elite is very stubborn about adding UEFI boot entries for some reason so the simplest solution is once you are in OSX, mount your EFI partition (using clover configurator, etc) and navigate to /EFI/EFI/Microsoft/Boot/

Now find the ‘bootmgfw.efi’ file and rename it to ‘bootmgfw-orig.efi’ The Elite will boot to Clover ever more, except after a major Windows update. When it starts booting directly to Windows again, simply repeat the process.

*** 6/5/17 - Updated VoodooI2C kext, see first post.

Well it was a long shot as the method wasn't really working for the original poster other than getting the reader recognised so I got my hopes up after I could actually read and write an SD card and it "just" seems that the reader doesn't wake up properly after sleep.

Thanks RehabMan. I'll have a look at this and for anyone interested will report back if I get anywhere with it.

I guess for what it's worth, I have this USB-C multiport adapter (http://minix.com.hk/en/products/neo-c-usb-c-multiport-adapter), think already mentioned (HDMI port) in this thread, that makes external SD cards accessible (i.e. working properly). Don't know if this is expected, pics are attached for the usual reference.

There is also a wired ethernet port in this adapter (AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet) where a macOS kext (http://www.asix.com.tw/download.php?sub=driverdetail&PItemID=131) download is available from the manufacturer's site. Quickly downloaded and tried it but it didn't seem to work, quickly gave up, too. As soon as I get my hands on a MBP, I'll check it out again.

This is working fine now... (my bad, didn't have the correct set of ACPI files in CLOVER). Didn't even try on a MBP. Thanks for all the hard work here folks!!!

Wow, this was like opening a can of worms. Soon as I got network connection, BTW didn't replace my Intel WiFi card (maybe later), had to deal with App Store problem. Tried a number of solutions I can google and the only one that worked for this interface was NullEthernet - Hail Rehabman!!!

I only used 2 files from Rehabman's solution - NullEthernet.kext and patch.txt. Very straightforward, kext was installed in /Library/Extensions where the adapter's kext (AX88179_178A.kext) was also installed. I first tried the SSDT approach but that didn't seem to load NullEthernet. So went ahead and patched my DSDT instead. And whoa, now I'm able to download freebies from the App Store!

try to install el capitan 10.11.6 on x2 elite using files herу ( used to do it in past )
but since i hav ssd x4 pm961 - installer does not see disk drive.
adding NVMe_patches_10_11_6.plist in to the clover config does not help
Does anybody have clover config patched for nvme disk ? or kekt for sansung pm961 ( or 960 evo ? )

@jhax01 I have to say, ever since I watched your video I couldn't stop thinking about a tablet running Mac OS. I've always wanted that to happen. So I decided to look in the market for the one that fits me the most. I picked Huawei Matebook E even though I couldn't find any tutorials for that device here. My experience with building hackintosh is very minimal, I built one about 6 years ago or so.

After two days of going back and forth and trying out different things, I was able to install Sierra on the Matebook. Audio working, My biggest challenge was to get the touchscreen to work. I thought it would be as simple as another kexts but that wasn't it. I added the attached VoodooI2c to S/L/E and @RehabMan's Voodoo-PS2-Controller to ELF/kexts/other but I kept getting KP. I had to follow @RehabMan tutorial: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/
I thought it will work after but still, so I tried the original VoodoI2C and boom, finally a working touchscreen (single touch only though). I was also able to fix sleep. I still haven't experiment much with brightness but the fix patch didn't work for me.
#Update: Another reboot and the brightness now works.

So back to the touch screen. Now I really want to get multitouch working but can't think of what should I do next. I tried different versions of VoodoPS2Controller and looked at the current issues and fixes right now. So to be clear, my trackpad is recognized as a mouse, if I hit the trackpad setting it says it's looking for a bluetooth trackpad.
This is my first post so I'm really if I'm missing something.

This thread isn’t for your device so you should really open a new one in the support section and clearly state the issues you’re having.

VoodooPS2 doesn’t have any effect or anything to do with VoodooI2C and I’m not entirely sure what it is you’re asking. That being said, the version of VoodooI2C in this thread is specific to the Elite (the input report is being parsed manually) and will not work for other devices without the same/similar model of Wacom digitizer. We are getting ready to release a new version that will work in a more generic fashion for other devices (no eta at the moment).
