Correct. FakePCIID is from the initial installation with my onboard graphics.
I'll check what my processor does when resizing windows...

Edit 12:31: My cpu usage climbs to about 25% when I resize e.g. a finder window.
Edit 12:33: Same happens on my iMac btw.

Something is definitely wrong. These cards should be able to drive the UI at 4k@60hz. They are top of the line and even more powerful than the new Vega 56 coming with the $5k (base) iMac Pro. Granted that iMac is also coming with an 8core Xeon processor. Electron apps seem to be the most affected. If I open slack and a few instances of visual studio code then my system begins to stutter and lag. When scrolling pages in chrome the scrolling will start out smooth and then pause and lag on the page for ~250ms. Resizing a complicated chrome window or slack window drops FPS down to 1-2fps.

hdv79, it’s possible you still have this issue but you are not noticing it due to not pushing your system hard enough to discover it. I initially thought my system was fine but I’m now questioning it after dual booting windows 10 on the same system and feeling how smooth and fast everything is.

I may end up trying to get my hands on a Vega 64 for comparison purposes. The Vega 64 is natively supported at full acceleration system wide in 10.13.2. My guess is the Nvidia web drivers have some serious issues with the new WindowServer Apple shipped in HS

Out of curiosity are any of you also seeing an issue with MirrorDisplays service repeatedly in server.log?

```
It might be a bug of the web driver.
I am using 1080 with a 4k monitor. The Chrome behaves laggy until I closed the hardware acceleration. Same thing happened with my VS Code until I disabled the GPU acceleration.
Hi all,
After restarting my build today I got a scary message that my current web driver was no longer compatible, but it was followed by a promising message that an update was available. Turns out NVIDIA released a new webdriver on Dec 1st. After installing it, I am noticing SIGNIFICANT performance improvements with my Pascal GPU! Anyone else updated the driver yet?
