I tried Rember both with and without the sound card attached, both results came back positive with no errors. If I run audio through Chrome it seems to work a bit better, haven't tried any longer sessions though. Playing audio through iTunes initiates a crash after a short while also. Here's a video demonstrating the issue:

Uff... I really don't know what you guys are doing!

I was playing 4K movies for hours also on youtube, was listening my iTunes music for days. Not one single issue!

a.) Try to use Safari or Firefox! How many times I already recommended not to use currently Chrome under 10.13

b.) If this does not help change board! Nobody recommended to go with Gigabyte X299.

Cheers,

KGP

Such is life... Nobody can drive 3x 4K with what you were aiming at.. (and you even aimed at 4x 4K Monitors with one 6GB graphics cards ) Sell one screen and stay with 2x 4K, and you will save a lot of money if you do not have it or do not want to invest it....

But please don't expect miracles, be realistic, try to stay with facts and study and follow the very basics ...

Yes I know, like I said before the initial setup it was 2 x 4k , and with that the GTX 1060 6Gb, works normally.

Then keep it like it is... full stop

Hey @poshook, @oznem

That's kind of what I was seeing, I think I've got my head round what is going on my board, so in windows im all good now.

1. Indeed, that's what appears to be happening

2. I'm more than happy to help if I can, I've quite familiar with the ASrock BIOS now...lol
I've tried my hand at a few custom SSDTs with varying degrees of success. On the surface my power management looks good, benchmarks are what you'd expect for any given clock speed, even without an SSDT...

3. I've sorted things on the windows side now, which is good. We'll get there in the end! Again if I can help at all, more than happy to .

Yup @justdatruth, from what I can see your benchmarks look super-good, so maybe after all if you and @poshook are experiencing some sluggish performance with you DAW software It might be what we were just saying before: unoptimized software on a too new platform. I'm glad you two seem to have found a workaround, at least in Windows.

Thanks in advance for your help which I really appreciate and most certainly will need shortly, today I got the 34" monitor but I'm afraid that the other components will arrive next week....

If your want graphic card for "more professional usage" than gaming
Yes! - In my opinion Vega 64 will a best choice!
10% less OS X power than GTX1080Ti but -40% better price :p
and most important !: OS X Native support today and on the future! :D
I have only 2 monitors at this moment so I can't say more, but after few weeks we will have
official Mac Pro with Vega cards, so I'm sure you will be able to easily use your all 4k monitors :)

PS: Yeah :D it's not cheap but 7900X is a Must! :headbang:

Why wait for few weeks when it's working RIGHT NOW! Here's my current setup:

Motherboard : ASUS Prime X299-Deluxe
RAM: 64GB GSkill TridentZ RGB (F4-3600C17Q-64GTZR) - "Non-Approved" RAM that works anyway - LOL!
CPU: 1 x i9-7980XE (Water Blocked)
GPU: 2 x AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB
PSU: EVGA 1600 T2
Monitors: 3 x Asus MG28UQ 28" 4K

If I wasn't clear before, I'm going to say it now, I can tell you from first hand experience that the Vega Frontier cards are native to Apple over nVidia cards for running Mac OS X HS 10.13.1. I'm sure I could use one 1080 Ti (12GB), but to run 3 x 28" 4K monitors, that's pushing it a bit far for ONE 1080 Ti. Not saying it can't work, but I faced freezing issues because of that. So if want to toss money at the wind (like I did) to experiment, be my guest. I might use my existing 2 x Titan X (12GB) Maxwell cards to see if it will work with my new setup, but again, I don't have to worry about new drivers as AMD runs native to this system.

...As you can tell with the review of the one I purchased and the one you're interested in (or already own), he's very thorough and he gave the one you like (or own) a perfect "10", that one's a great choice. Hope you like the PSU reviews. By the way, this is for anyone wanting to check if your PSU up to snuff, just check his site. Hope this helps!

Oh yes man, veeery helpful indeed, luckily my soon to arrive Corsair RM750x gets a score of 9.8 ...

thanks!

I'm not a PRO overclocker, but I'm happy with my today object: achieve more than 5900-5980 single core Geekbench points :p

and voila :headbang: 7900X with 6043 SingleCore points .. I love that CPU :D
I'm very interested what I will do with KGP -EK CPU monoblock and 7900x delided :p

Does anyone in here using the

Gigabyte Alpine Ridge Dual Thunderbolt 3 Card
38844.jpg

instead of the TBEX3 comes with the MB? If you success, do you need to change any setting on the BIOS?
The TBEX3 working great with my system but I'd like to have two TB3 ports,

Thanks in advance,

I guess I found THE topic I was waiting for...

I run now on 2699v4, 2 titan X, and some NVme
everything under water (EK-WB)

i was wondering to go to 2 Vega + i9-7980XE
cause my 2 titan X maxwell have tons of problems with HT of the 2699 (Nvidia drivers are not OK with HT activated

so from your experience, do you recommend a rig with 2 Vega than 2 Titan Xp?
I use tons of programs using CUDA but the fact that I need to turn OFF the HT of the 2699v4 to have them fully reliable is pointless

thank you
