Always stuck on apple logo after selected the installation on Clover Bootloader. Any idea?
You forgot to disable intel onboard graphics in bios. The install crashes with Intel graphics + pci video card

At the Clover boot menu, under Options > ACPI patching -> Tables dropping - check MATS
Good luck
I read not all boards have this option so it doesn't always show.
Manually added MATS to clover drop tables but still hangs at apple installer progress bar.
Testing with a hdd so the new file system may be an issue.
Will up date if i make progress.

Thanks for the guide!

The upgrade from 10.12.5 worked fine after temporarily removing my GTX 980 and cleaning up
eg the old NVME fixes in S/L/E, which are not required in 10.13.

Once I put the GPU board back and chose it as primary adapter in the BIOS, I still
run into boot problems with both, the updated web drivers and the vesa mode.

It turns out one has to switch off also the "CPU Graphics Multi-Monitor" option in the BIOS.

Now all works perfectly with two screens attached to the GTX, on DP and HDMI, and with the new USB
and sound fixes applied via clover setup.

I just tried this. I disabled trim in terminal and booted into recovery mode. The option for convert to APFS is greyed out on my 960 EVO and also my 850 EVO which I use as a backup drive. Strangely enough it isn't greyed out for my Seagate SSHD. Not that I would want to convert that to APFS anyway.

For what reason won't it let me convert?

Try unmounting it first in Disk Utility, then try again.

Download and run Toleda's script -> audio_cloverALC-130.command.zip

Thank's buddy, I got it working and don't know how I did it because I kept running command and it did not work and then tried mounting but the terminal kept telling me that it wasn't mounted. Eitherway It's working now and I appreciate you replying with link. :)

I was able to update my Hackintosh with no issues at all using the AppStore download. I haven't run Multibeast yet, but everything seems to be working (Audio, as I use a USB sound card, my important programs, etc.). Haven't tried sleep yet, but I will soon. Thank you Tonymacx86 for the support and great information.
