Soo.... it's been a long few days to say the least... I'm currently working on my second ever hackintosh build (which is for my brother) and I thought my first one (msi board) was tough but this is just on a whole new scale... Anywho... My first roadblock was that I couldn't even boot the installer without the io ports losing power (did not know this was a foreshadowing of me learning what kernel panick is and the frustrations to come) so I tried a unibeast stick instead and that actually installed. My second roadblock was that I couldn't boot from the hard drive itself (could only launch clover from the flash drive before I could choose to boot from my hard drive) which I assume is due to the fact that I couldn't enable xhci hand-off in EUFI for some god forsaken reason. BUT moving forward I posted my issue to this forum and some very helpful individual linked me to a thread where someone showed me how to add a Clover boot option to EUFI . Tried that but it said it couldn't find cd \boot\clover so... another roadblock. Did some googling and I came to the conclusion that maybe it didn't install the clover bootloaders to my hard drive thus it couldn't locate the directory. So, I went back to the good old clover method of making the install drive and well... here's where i reach my third and by far most frustrating roadblock. Every time I tried to boot into the installer the IO kept losing power. I did some more research and diagnosed this problem as kernel panic. Some very helpful gentleman revealed that you just need to check an option in Clover to prevent panic, and so I did. It launched the installer and installed successfully I assume so I go to launch it form my hard disk and... NOTHING. It start's panicking on boot all over again. Very frustrating... So guys... I need your help.
