Sorry for the dumb question but I see these snippets all over the place. Where do they go? In the config.plist? Do you cut and paste them in? Thanks.

It's a Clover kernel patch. You stick it in the KernelToPatch section of your config.plist and it'll apply the patch on-the-fly based on the specified qualifiers.

Oddly enough I can't find mention of the KernelToPatch section in the English Clover wiki, but the Spanish version definitely mentions it. Makes me wonder if the feature has been removed in recent versions...

Hi. No more audio ALC887 after updating to 12.6. Try to install it again with unibeast and nothing. Updated Clover and nothing..
Any ideas please? help!

sorry for a noob question, this is my first hackintosh. did I need to install CUDA driver separately after nVidia driver for my gtx970?

Yes, Cuda needs to be installed separately from the Nvidia web drivers.

Hi I just tried updating. All went well, rebooted with fake cpuid as skylake and worked fine. After removing the fake cpuid in clover configurator and updating the smbios to an imac 18,3 as it seems best for my kaby lake processor. I now get this message in verbose boot:

getCPUIDInfo this is an unknown cpu model 0x9e -- power management may be incomplete or unsupported

It then turns itself off. I've tried using fake cpuid again but no joy.

Any ideas how I might be able to get around this? Thanks
